Feeling like a total goober. Maybe its the pneumonia or something :(
I pick things up well, teach myself easily but all the tutorials and things I have trawled in last few days are not showing me how to do what I want in either Lightroom or Photoshop.
This is all i need help with:
a) take one original image
b) section it equally into 3 even sections
c) over hang to be cropped out is ok - it just needs to meet my aspect ration specs.
d) aspect ratio of 16:9
e) portrait view
I mean - how hard can it be?
Yes I already can crop my image into the correct aspect ratio in both apps. What I CAN'T do, is get 3 crops out of it so they line up EXACTLY.
GRRRR - again - maybe its the head and lungs full of snot and phlegm and a murderous fever... but seriously - how hard CAN it be?
Suggestions anyone? Pls?

2026 Technical Rescue Training

This tree was based on the theme Technical. I have considered it technical due to it's construction and the background behind it. It has been based on my favorite artist William Kentridge; a white South African who has constructed drawings and movies based on the Apartheid. He filled his canvas with charcoal and would use an eraser to draw and rub back images, photograph them, fill back in and erase again playing with the idea of erosion. These images would then be put together to create a movie. In my attempt to execute this look i constructed three charcoal filled canvases and erased away three different stages of tree life. I then photographed and merged these images together to create one final peace. I liked the idea of using charcoal as it was originally derived from the heating of wood which is fundamentally a tree.

Composition: this is shot with me above him on the stairs, made to look like I'm below him and he's upside down, trying to capture his playfulness
Content/Audience: this senior year has been so upside down, but he is so right-side up!
