At the long closed (1995) IBM Kingston NY plant, I drive by here every time I go to work in one of the other ex IBM buildings in this complex called tech city since 1998.

This is the newest building on this site open in 1984 and vacated in 1995 when the Kingston NY IBM site closed and had very little use since then.
The remains of some older demolished buildings are in piles in front of it this building is still in great shape so I hope it gets reused.

Formally the KINGSTON IBM site closed since 1996 and laying off or moving over 7000 people and renamed TECH CITY in 1998 in hopes of reusing the site and buildings but very little business moved in over the years and in the last year or so many buildings from the 1950's to the early 1980's are being demolished and many more will follow.
