The second and hopefully last in the dead Tech series. My Panasonic HDD/DVD combo unit got spiked by a recent power cut. Despite the best efforts by Roger Green's of Worthing - economic repair wasn't possible. Today I ripped out the hard disk, with a view to accessing the contents.
In addition to a new machine, I have invested in a surge protector.
