The inaugural Food+Tech Hackathon took place on December 4, 2010 at co-working space Soho Haven as part of the International Open Data Hackathon. It was hosted by Food+Tech Connect (foodandtechconnect.com), Open Source Cities (opensourcecities.org), & Gojee (gojee.com).

The blog subscriptions seem to run about $1.99 per month, but the rediculous thing is that you can use the built-in web browser (which is very basic - some say horrible) and browse to those sites and view the content from there for free. It's not pretty nor is it as clean as an RSS feed, but it's a way around anyway.
I agree with Erick Schonfeld and his first impressions on TechCrunch from back in November. It's an interesting device, but it falls well short of amazing.
Vet Tech students visited Spring Hill Equine Veterinary Clinic.They got hands on equine experience, from handling, to diagnostic imaging, taking x-rays with portable machine, observing the use of ultrasound and endoscopy.
