Tonight, in a departure from recent experimental layer/montage work, I revisit some shots from an excursion to a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, with a couple of shots of downtown buildings from Busch Stadium and a couple of "Team Fredbird," sort of the Cardinals cheerleading squad.

Powell- always ready for some action and always carries extra ammo

Nova Team is a specialized group of Federation officers fulfilling the role of both explorers and defenders. Working out of Deep Space Outpost Arcturus, the team travels the galaxy in search of strange new worlds and civilizations and are ready to help and protect anyone who needs it.

Over the last couple of days I’ve been posting photos with stories ;-) of my custom LEGO Neo-Classic Space minifigure waterslide decals. Thank you all for the interest, favs and kind words. I really appreciate it! For those who don’t know, my idea was to come up with an updated take on the original Classic Space minifigure and of course making sure that wonderful logo was centerstage in the design. I took inspiration from Galaxy Squad, Batman's spacesuit and the Series 1 Spaceman Collectible Minifigure. In this shot can be seen the Padstow lifeboat station which was built in 2006, this replaced the old station which had been located to the left of this building, which had housed a Tyne class boat, James Burrough.

The reason for the new station was to accommodate the new state of the art Tamar class all weather lifeboat which was named ‘Spirit Of Padstow’ at a very moving ceremony in Padstow harbour.

RNLI crew members are volunteers, and each time they go out they are putting their lives on the line, who will ever forget 19 December 1981 when the Penlee lifeboat ’Solaman Browne’ went to the aid of the MV Union Star in hurricane conditions, although the crew of the Penlee boat managed initially to rescue 4 people the weather deteriorated and all eight members of the lifeboat crew lost their lives, plus the eight people from the Union Star.

These life saving boats are all funded by monies raised by donations in one form or another throughout the country.

My girls needed a black van, and I remembered, that this A-Team van from hachiroku24 has been on my to-do list for some years.

I modified some minor things - enlarged the front shield, so that the bumper is a plate lower. Changed a bit of the innards to get smoother side panels, and reduced stress on the clutch power. And lastly replaced the ugly double doors with one big hatch. Not a hundred percent happy with that solution, but now it's smooth without gaps.
