Twenty Mule Team Canyon in Death Valley National Park offers a dramatic, 2.5-mile, one-way dirt road through highly eroded, colorful badlands. The canyon lies within the Furnace Creek badlands and is named for the famous borax freight wagons that once hauled loads of refined borax across the Mojave Desert in the late 1800s. The canyon’s softly sculpted hills are composed primarily of ancient lakebed sediments from the Miocene-era Furnace Creek Formation, rich in clay, silt, and volcanic ash. Over millions of years, erosion by rare but intense desert rainstorms has carved these materials into the flowing, fluted ridges seen today. Variations in mineral content—such as iron oxides, manganese, and other trace elements—produce the canyon’s distinctive pastel palette of yellows, blues, purples, and browns, which shift dramatically with the angle of early or late sunlight. Once part of a vast inland lake system, this stark yet colorful terrain now stands as a geological record of Death Valley’s dynamic climatic and volcanic past.
Yesterday I had the chance to help BBVA bank in a competition that they joined. My aunt Lisa called me to see if i would be interested in doing a small shoot I said sure why not!! I got the opportunity to meet nick anderson from the Magic and include him in the shoot! over all a good day!!

THE TECHNIQUE!
I drew the union jack on the computer printed an A4 off as the background, I then used a pane of clear glass and cleaned it, I then placed the glass above the printed flag about 2 feet above but this can be any height really but it does have to be high enough for the subject to be out of focus, the higher it is the more detail in the reflections.
I then used a eye dropper filled with water and placed the droplets on the surface of the pane of glass and just focusing on the droplets and nothing else to get this results, go on have a go yourselves!! You can use any subject material just use your imagination!

Honestly, who hasn’t played the Lego Batman Video Game? My brothers recently 100% completed the game, and it inspired me to find all of my old Lego Batman stuff. You guys have seen Two Face, Ivy, and Clayface before, but I found Riddler and Freeze just a few days ago.
