My Granny collected tea cups. She was as dainty, delicate and beautiful as this set.

I was lucky enough to find a sleeping plate for Claudia this week...
She is just the most beautiful little thing when she's asleep isn't she?!

"Georgie, what are you doing with grandma's teacups?"
"Well, if you won't take me to Disneyland then I will bring Disneyland to me!"
We had a minimum day today, which was wonderful:) It felt like spring this afternoon, it was so nice.
I have a question: I only have 8 photos left before I run out of room on my account, and I wanted to know if flickr automatically starts deleting your photos when you reach 200, or if it just doesn’t let me upload anymore until I delete some?
I couldn't decide what photos to post, so I just stuck a lot in the comments. should i post any of them separately?

Week 7
Inspired by the Vampire Weekend song of the same name :)
yay storms in teacups!
it's technically a piece for my Photography class. We are supposed to take something small and make it big.... haha whoops :)
Actually, I made this as a possible Theory of Knowledge project. We are supposed to bring in 3 songs that are important to us, or ones we think are timeless/wonderful/make us feel something ect. One of the projects you can choose from has the option of bringing in artwork that reminds up of certain songs, so I'm creating 3 new peices - all inspired by songs I love - to show to the class. I'm SO EXCITED for it :D
this is named after a Vampire Weekend song, but it's inspired by Excuses, by The Morning Benders I always listen to this song when I'm flying on a plane somewhere...
X54 and 42103 run light engine on an X54 trial trip to Moss Vale.
Interestingly these two locomotives display elements of three liveries from three different states. 42103 wears the NSW Candy livery. X54 wears a debadged Queensland Eagle Livery with a Victorian Teacup logo on the nose.

The teacup shaped island at the back of the image is located on Darnley Beach, Prince Edward Island, Canada. One of the highlights during our trip to the east coast. And on a beautiful day, to boot.
On a walk in the Botanic Gardens September 13, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.
Founded in 1863 with the planting of an English oak tree, the Christchurch Botanic Gardens have grown from small beginnings to become a much-loved destination for Cantabrians and visitors alike. Over the years natural wetlands and sand dunes have been transformed into an elegantly cultivated 30 hectare park with more than 10 different gardens framed by mature trees and expansive lawns, which are mostly contained within a loop of the Avon River.

Teacups, Disneyland California.
So I didn't like any of the pictures I took at Disneyland this time around. I took my D200 with the 18-55mm, a holga with a few rolls, and a poloroid with about 30 shots. I was also under the control of a 10 year old girl with some -tude.
I ended up barely taking any pictures, but did get this one. I would really like to go back though. I needed my tripod, a little bit of a longer exposure and a darker sky.
I had to do alot of work in CS2 for this result. mainly level and curve tweaks, but more than I like to. I think I could do better than this without the photoshop if I plan a little more.
So I guess I consider this more of a test shoot/scout for a day in the future. Maybe the Holga pictures will look cool?
