This displaced duck must be totally confused. How did I get here!?!
The original photo of the duck was taken on the riverfront. The Photofox Teacup component was used to create this image.
Taken for Macro Mondays: Monochrome.
What to photograph this week???? I recently brought this tea set over from Scotland to Munich, it has been handed down in our family for a number of generations and now I am the custodian. To me, it seems too beautiful to use but also too beautiful to keep in a cupboard. Photographing it today made me think about all the ladies that have used it for tea and cake and I wonder if the owner at the time thought, should I bring out the good china?
HMM!
My lens was fogging up, big time! I guess it was about to rain or something.
Once again, I don't feel like taking pictures of myself.
Have a great Monday, lol.
Just another bit of my front porch. As you can see, we live next to an unpaved alley—our white wood doesn't stay clean. We've completely given up.
Kitty sitting in the teacup I got back in 2016 from The Butchart Gardens when my husband and I went on our first ever Cruise to Alaska.

It's just a cup of troubles,
Nothing too big.
You could drink it on down,
In a single swig.
But If you let them sit,
Then they'll all build up,
And soon you'll be drowning,
In your little teacup.
I tried for awhile today to get a shot of steam rising from this little tea cup, but didn't succeed - had to resort to some PSE trickery - will have to have another go at it after I see what other lights I have hanging around the house.

This is a shot of the famous teacup ride at Disneyworld, engineered for maximum nausea. I have stayed on the sidelines for many years.

On a walk around Mona Vale gardens in Christchurch September 4, 2015 on a very cold windy day with Flying another Flickr friend.
Mona Vale, with its homestead formerly known as Karewa, is a public park of 4 ha in the Christchurch suburb of Fendalton. The homestead and gate house are both listed as heritage buildings with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (NZHPT). The fernery and the rose garden, and pavilion with the setting of the park along the Avon River, add to the attractiveness of the property. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Christchurch.
