Happiest Monday!!

Ben's chin is propped on my lap..... telling me it's time to go Mommy... the trail awaits... (the muddy, sloppy trail)... sigh... but oh well... :)

The clocks are jumping ahead overnight and I figured I may as well use the loss of an hours sleep to my advantage and get a photo title out of the deal.

Picked up some tulips while at the grocery store and wanted to put them to use before I snipped them for the vase, I'm glad I did because I like the way this one turned out.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

My lens was fogging up, big time! I guess it was about to rain or something.

Once again, I don't feel like taking pictures of myself.

Have a great Monday, lol.

Just taking a bath in a teacup with a flower parasol....completely normal

Just another bit of my front porch. As you can see, we live next to an unpaved alley—our white wood doesn't stay clean. We've completely given up.

Trying out some new compositional techniques.

At my house. This year the Cardinals seem extra bright red.

It's just a cup of troubles,

Nothing too big.

You could drink it on down,

In a single swig.

But If you let them sit,

Then they'll all build up,

And soon you'll be drowning,

In your little teacup.

I tried for awhile today to get a shot of steam rising from this little tea cup, but didn't succeed - had to resort to some PSE trickery - will have to have another go at it after I see what other lights I have hanging around the house.

On a walk around Mona Vale gardens in Christchurch September 4, 2015 on a very cold windy day with Flying another Flickr friend.

Mona Vale, with its homestead formerly known as Karewa, is a public park of 4 ha in the Christchurch suburb of Fendalton. The homestead and gate house are both listed as heritage buildings with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (NZHPT). The fernery and the rose garden, and pavilion with the setting of the park along the Avon River, add to the attractiveness of the property. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Christchurch.

This was my mother's favourite teacup and saucer ~ she only used this on special occasions!! I'm not sure how old this will be but I do recall her drinking her tea from this when I was a young boy .... and that wasn't yesterday!
