Os já famosos cartões feitos com saquinhos de chá. Desta vez num cartão origami de formato especial.
I started the first tutorial just now (even though this came out in the summer.) I was excited to use a real leaf! And pieces of a bag from Fossil, a swatch from PB, tea bag tag thingy from my Tazo, yellow lace from a RVKC kit and the front of a Paper Source mailer. ;)
BEHIND THE SCENES - Come to HMS Warrior on Wed 16th November at 2pm to witness the world's largest tea bag.
All About Tea - Tea blenders & packers of Portsmouth. 100 kg of their new Portsmouth Tea.
Went to West House Textiles today to see the tea bag being sewn.
"A woman is like a tea bag;
you never know how strong she is
until she gets in hot water.
~ Eleanor Roosevelt ~
“Drink your tea slowly and reverently,
as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves
- slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.
Live the actual moment.
Only this moment is life.”
~ Thich Nhat Hanh ~
I added a raspberry tea bag to the original angry blob.
It seemed to add a domestic lipstick to cover the angry expression. Though, attitude is still anger.
This is my very first tea bag art and I'm in love! Done with acrylic paint on a tea bag 3 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches.

This is a close look at a deconstructed tea bag. The area you see is about 2" side to side--maybe less. It is part of a collage I made several years ago.
I collected my used tea bags for a few months. After drying them out, each tea bag was carefully deconstructed in an elaborate and time-consuming process. I adhered each of the stained papers (some still with tea leaf debris) to a large sheet of rice paper with rice paste. It is a very delicate and fragile collage. I planned to make more of them, but never did.
You can see the collage in the comments below in both B&W and the actual colors.
Really great, especially with a biscuit, but watch out for rain...

Cropped; contrasted; greyscaled; contrasted some more. HSS!
Take a break at Pelcomb Portraits.
Pouring cream into a cup of tea is an excellent demonstration of several principles of Physics and mathematics; expecially fluid dynamics and chaos theory.
Can you see the tea bag?

"There’s some debate about who invented the very first tea bag. One of the most popular legends has it that American tea importer Thomas Sullivan shipped out samples of his product in silk pouches in 1908, not intending his customers put them directly in the hot water that way, but some tried it and asked for more of the same. »

The knife only came into view after it had been used to reflect light on the empty tea bag wrappers. I do not recommend using anything with sharp edges as a reflector. The reflector became part of a new image. One photograph was softly focused on the wrappers, one photograph was focused on the text on the knife and another photograph was taken to include the best back drop. Take three photographs and add them together including making a reflection of the wrappers on the blade. My tea was invigorating and my composite was inspiring. Now for the next Kitcphoto, that is a Kitchen based Photography Scenario and Setting.
Available Autumn light through one window not facing the Sun, one 30w constant light not for photography, one broad stainless steel knife, one serrated not so broad stainless steel knife, a cup, mainly the handle of the cup as a ceramic slip in no grip no clip rounded rectangle aperture, a board with signs of enjoyment and carved in smiles and a Google Pixel 6 Pro. The knifes were used as reflectors to bring both strong light and dark shadow.
One reviving drink brought about Kitcphoto the Kitchen based Photography Scenario and Setting that comes about even when outside of the Kitchen.

Yes, I know this is Star Wars Day, but this year the alternative was A Tea Bag. That gave me a chance to sketch something different from the usual Lego Minifig Stormies. Just a damp teabag, freshly out of the cup, making a mess on my nice clean sheet of paper. Perfect! Tea was Cornish Smugglers Brew, just in case you were wondering!
Nice of Flickr to produce a little Easter Egg on the loading screen to celebrate Star Wars Day!

20th July 2019:
The weather has gone most strange, some sun, but mostly very cloudy with some rain.
I've had this tea bag on one side for a damp day, but especially today for pefkosmad, who might need a virtual hug.
Sorry Wendy that I couldn't find one with coffee in it, they only do coffee pods, now-a-days and we don't have the right machine!
It could also be for anyone else who needs a little something extra too.
No tea on the moon, but Happy 50th Anniversary of the first moon landing. I remember watching it on TV snuggling up under or eiderdowns or possibly duvets (can't remember which we had back then).
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
