Voguel - Kitty Skin (EVOX)

Many times, when we go to photograph liver only we look at those that are open and offer us their stamens competing with beautiful color. We do not look at compositions with budding flowers that add a new way of seeing these small but showy spring flowers. Well I hope you like it.
Thank you for your visits and comments.
Ti amiamo tanto tanto. Con affetto, mamma e papà.
For you.....
Today we had this wonderful sunset (actually it was a bit lighter, but I shortened the exposure to have a darker effect). So you daddy and I went out to take some photos, and then he kept me in his arms and in this way he was keeping you too, and we stared at this sunset all together. It was our first sunset together, and we are anxious that you can see your sunset with your eyes an not through mine. We love you. Mummy and daddy.

Te Anau is a town in the Southland region of the South Island of New Zealand. In Māori, Te-Anau means the Place of the Swirling Waters. It is on the eastern shore of Lake Te Anau in Fiordland. Te Anau is 155 kilometres north of Invercargill and 171 kilometres to the southwest of Queenstown (via state highway 6). Manapouri lies 21 kilometres to the south. Te Anau lies at the southern end of the Milford Road, (State Highway 94) 117 kilometres to the south of Milford Sound.
The first Europeans (C.J. Nairn and W.J. Stephen) to visit the lake were led by Māori guides in 1852. The lake was formally surveyed first in 1863. The township was surveyed in 1893. This was soon after the Milford Track opened. The town only really started to grow after the opening of the Homer Tunnel and road route to Milford in 1953.
Tourism and farming are the predominant economic activities in the area. Lying as it does at the borders of Fiordland National Park, it is the gateway to a wilderness area famed for tramping and spectacular scenery. Many tourists come to Te Anau to visit the famous nearby fiords Milford Sound / Piopiotahi and Doubtful Sound / Patea. Visitors to the area also partake in activities such as kayaking, cycling, jet boat riding, fishing and hunting, farm tours and seaplane/helicopter sightseeing. In 2014, readers of New Zealand's Wilderness magazine voted Te Anau as the best location in New Zealand for tramping (hiking) opportunities. The town has a wide range of accommodation, with over 4,000 beds available in summer.
Lake Te Anau is the largest lake in the South Island and within New Zealand second only to Lake Taupō. Rising on the west side of Lake Te Anau, the Kepler and Murchison mountain ranges are evident from most of Te Anau. Many species of bird life are also found locally. The Department of Conservation office in Te Anau is active in protecting endangered native birds.

An image from our favourite spot, Te Anau, from the marina towards the Luxmore hills. Shot late afternoon with nice contrasty delicate lighting. A simple composition with negative space, hopefully displaying the beauty and tranquilly of this gorgeous part of New Zealand. Shot with my old manual Nikon 50mm. Love it. Enjoy.

Ci furono chiodi
e schegge
ed assi sconnesse,
e tratti senza tappeti sul pavimento
nudo.
Ma per tutto il tempo
seguitai a salire
e raggiunsi pianerottoli
e voltai angoli
e qualche volta camminai nel buio
dove non v’è spiraglio di luce.
Così, ragazzo, non tornare indietro.
Non fermarti sui gradini
perché trovi ardua l’ascesa.
Non cadere ora
perché io vado avanti, amore mio,
continuo a salire

Quedemos a oscuras
Me quedo contigo, me quedo contigo
Te imaginaba
Así como eres tú te imaginaba
Y aunque te vean hermosa maquillada
Estás más guapa recién levantada
Te imaginaba
Desayunando besos enla cama
Despertando a tu lado cada mañana
Y si peleamos que sea con almohada
Como te imaginaba
Que apaguen la luna
Quedemos a oscuras
Ya no tengo dudas
Me quedo contigo, me quedo contigo

"Buitenmolen"te Zevenaar The Netherlands

Until 1866 the mill remained managed as a domaine (owned by the lord). In that year the mill was sold to the then tenant Jac. van Grinten. His heirs sold it in 1879 to the miller's servant Johannes Gerritsen.
When Gerritsen switched to electric milling at the end of 1928, the Buitenmolen seemed to be over: on November 21 that year he put both rods up for sale. Around 1930, the rods and tail were removed and the hull was emptied: the mill became a motor mill.
After it was shut down in 1955, the hull, with an empty hood on top, was spared. In 1958 the mill was sold to F.Th. Korthaus, who in turn sold the mill to the municipality of Zevenaar in 1966.
The mill was reconstructed in 1969 and 1970. A real wooden axle was then chosen, but with iron rods. Both rods were fitted with old Dutch fencing with sails.
After more than 30 years, in 2002, the top axle, rods and front gate lens were replaced.
In practice, this mill runs almost every day.
Technical details:
The wheel gear of this mill is striking: it is operated via gear rings and clevis wheels. By hand, using one meter of rope means that the hood shifts one centimeter. It is therefore not illogical that an electric motor was installed at a certain point! Chain crossing (from the belt, by means of a rotating chain) is also possible.
I captured this image of a random chair in beautiful light in the Musee de l'Orangerie in Paris. By the way, there are also very beautiful paintings by Claude Monet to be viewed. So, everyone has his own artistic taste...
Fuji X-Pro1 plus Helios 44M-7 at F8. Our furniture is a kind of bricolage - bits and pieces from different places and often relating to particular stories, lives re-arranged and expressed through our eclectic interior, a composite entity just as my mind is. Therefore, should it be true that the outside is a reflection of the inside, then this should also hold for my hobby, photography. I am not creating anything when making images. I am re-arranging what I see. Different from, say, a painter, I do not create something new. I am actually interpreting or translating what I see. Most of the time, that is. Sometimes, I design something and then take the picture. Usually, however, I am looking at things that are already out there and then give this a visual expression. Basically, I am a translator. And I am keenly aware that there can be very fine and also less convincing translations.
