-----------------------

May you succeed in escaping the hectic pace of life in order to feel the true magic of the

Merry Christmas!

THE HURLY-BURLY OF LIFE.................................

IL ME CONVIENT .

My Birthday will be 2 days later ,a moment to think about Life ( time flies...)

I love this tex I found on the Internet because it is positive , the right way to face the LIFE ......

ENGLISH

"THE LIFE is a person, the person that it is necessary to take as partner. To enter it's waltz, its

whirls, sometimes it makes you " drinking the cup " and you believe that you are going to die

and then it catches you by hair and puts you down farther. Sometimes , it crushes your feet,

sometimes it makes you waltz. IT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE LIFE AS WE ENTER A

DANCE. Do not stop the movement by crying on yourself , by accusing the others, by drinking, by

taking small pills to weaken the shock. Waltz, waltz, waltz. Cross the events which it sends you

to make you stronger, more definite. "

SPANISH (ESPAGNOL )

Talvolta ti schiaccia i piedi, talvolta ti fa ballare.

Jacobello by Antonello da Messina (1455-1488)

Madonna and Child (1480) - Accademia di Carrara - Bergamo

It is the only signed and dated work of the son of Antonello, Jacobello da Messina, who inherited the workshop at the death of his father (1479), completing the unfinished works. Jacobello takes up his father's ideas in the strong three-dimensional construction of the faces, in the virtuosic glimpse of the hand holding the glass cup and finally in the landscape, described with an attention worthy of Flemish painting. On the cartouche, the "non-human" inscription alludes to the inimitable genius of the father.

on black please!

I spent great part of the morning making a lens hood (cuting it out from a carton of cereals -.-") just to take a silly heart shaped bokeh shot, so this is my photo of the day.

Follow the dots to the best cup of Monday morning coffee around!

...a part of my daily morning routine!

Please, View On Black

I've seen so much of this shots around, I had to give it a try :D Messed up my room a lot, ahah.

At Castle Howard, UK

The Atlas Fountain and pond dates from 1850. It was exhibited at The Great Exhibition (1851) prior to installation.

It was designed by William Andrews Nesfield and the sculpted figures were carved in Portland stone by John Thomas.

A large globe of bronze dominates the fountain supported on the shoulders of Atlas. Four recumbent Tritons blow water through shells over Atlas kneeling on a pedestal in the central tazza. Other jets fill the lower scallop shell basins, which overflow into the central basin producing a dramatic cascade of white water.

The fountain is fed from the half-million gallon Ray Wood reservoir, to the east of the main house. Gravity feeds water into a chamber beneath the pond basin where pipes direct it to the main outlets in the Triton's shells.

The pond is approximately 27 metres (89 ft) in diameter.

Leave it to the Italians to make a device for perfect stove top coffee. Not as sharp as espresso, it renders a very swift gush of deep flavored Moka. With or without milk, a great pick-me-up. They offer directions on YouTube

:-)
