HBW!
Had an amazing meal recently at Il Gabbiano. Seriously, THE BEST Italian restaurant in Miami. The food is always phenomenal and the service is exceptional.
When I walk in they give me that funny look because I'm always carrying my camera. "It's her again"
In my defense I try to leave the camera behind if I'm having a more formal meal in the evening. I try. Sometimes. If I can help it. Must resist. Sometimes.

Fresh sweet ahi tuna prepared in a fusion tartare fashion sitting atop sticky rice and a wasabi spring pea puree with sweet soy reduction. Topped with wasabi tobiko and salon caviar.
The pea puree was exceptional. The tuna was seasoned with minced ginger, scallions, sea salt and a little chili flake.

In the early 20th century, what is now generally known as "steak tartare" was called steak à l'Americaine in Europe
Tuna Tartare with Spinach and Celeriac Mousses, a nice appetizer for a festive meal too!
I made this to test textures and flavors together. And I loved it. On my blog soon.
Bistecca alla tartara, più veloce di questa non ce ne sono! www.kittyskitchen.it/bistecca-alla-tartara.html
Absolutely one of my favorite appetizers or meal! Sitting on the water, enjoying the views with friends and a cocktail of course! This no-cook recipe is easy to make and can be served as two appetizer portions or one entrée. The pairing of tuna and avocado is a sushi classic and the flavors work well together here, with Japanese spices and rice wine vinegar adding piquant notes.
