Presentació del Sitges tapa a tapa primavera 2023 avui a l'IES Benaprès. Una nova edició que tindrà lloc del 13 al 23 d'abril i comptarà amb 32 participants.

Members of the 1st Cavalry Division and 2nd Cavalry Brigade currently training at Tapa Military Base in Estonia shared Thanksigivng with their Estonian counterparts and friends this year.
Traditionally, U.S. troops stationed abroad are served Thanksgiving dinner by the commander and officers. This year, U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey Levine and Defense Attaché LTC Geoffrey Wright helped serve troops there.

I tried a recipe from the August 2009 issue of Bon Appetit, called Smoky Corn Salsa. I'd post a link to the recipe, but it's not published on the web site yet.
They recommended using it with grilled fish, chicken or pork, or a fill for quesadillas, but I went with the tapas via french bread baguette. I was in heaven.
The vegetables are grilled, including the green onions, imparting the smoky flavor which combined with the sauteed cumin and minced garlic, provided a tasty topping for my baguette slices.
The ritual is what I love! Take one of the freshly cut garlic cloves and rub all over one side of the baguette. Take the halved tomato, gently squeeze some of the juice onto the bread and then drizzle olive oil on top. Scoop some of the corn salsa on top of it all and balance that baby right to your mouth. You won't want to lose one kernel.
On the plate, I also cut some provolone to serve as a topping, but I sort of lost interest in that after tasting the salsa.
A great Spanish custom. Wander into a spanish cafe and have a "small tasty treat" with a glass or beer or wine. These were "muy delisioso".

Esta tapa de fierro se ubica en una de las calles de entrada a la ciudad de Viña, como lo es Alvares, viviendo desde Valparaíso. Antes de llegar al semáforo que se encuentra pasando el reloj de flores aparece esta tapa, con los pernos que sobresalen de ésta. No recuerdo que haya estado así antes. Se ve peligroso si un neumático pasa por encima de uno de éstos.
