Its my Princesses birthday today and this is the cake we drew a picture of. Rapunzel's tower out of tangled. it had to have Maximus the horse ans the Prince dude. It was so much work!!!!!!
I have an obsession with red lately. It has been challenging taking photos this winter- it has been very cold! The day I took this it actually warmed up to 20 degrees, so I thought I'd brave it. Besides the fact that my legs were soaked at this point form a failed attempt lying in the snow (way to deep for that) it wasn't so bad.
This is some kind of junction box for telephone wires or something. Hopefully no longer in use - I think some birds are making a nest in it...
Lobby of the El Capitan Theatre. Large scale figures and artwork from Zootopia.
I saw Tangled at the El Capitan Theatre on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 7 pm. It was a wonderful experience, especially since I had never seen it in a movie theater before. Also they had the special guests Mandy Moore and director Nathan Greno appear before the showing the film. They were both charming and funny, and Mandy looked lovely. They did some Q&A, and helped in the raffles. The big prizes was the artwork created and signed by Nathan Greno and a big poster of Tangled, which was also shown on the big screen throughout the preliminaries before the movie. Also on the stage, a guy proposed marriage to a girl from the audience (she was told that she was the grand prize winner of the raffle), and fortunately she said yes.
After the showing of Tangled, they showed Tangled Ever After. It was nice seeing it again, and I think I enjoyed it even more this time, since the audience was so into it.
Afterwards I took a photo of a couple of cosplayers of Anna and Elsa, who sat a couple of rows in front of me, and sang along with Let It Go when the house organist played it in its entirety. There was also a good looking Flynn and Rapunzel couple in the lobby, but I didn't take photos of them.
what do i live for ?
a sense of joy that
sometimes makes it
all worth fighting for
...lovely as the wind
that takes my breath
and breathes it in...
oh no...not again
did i really fuck it up again ?
it seemed so close this time
got tangled up...
got caught inside

Imaritas was inspired by a 1700s porcelain shaving basin currently housed in the Singapore Asian Civilisations Museum.

I've been wanting to try Dot Klerck's (eat cake party) 3D Tangled cake, but was going to reserve it for my daughter's 5th birthday party... When this order came, i thought I can have a little play with just a styro tower... Tower topper was fun to make, but at 2am in the morning, I had to say enough is enough on the roof tiles lol!!!
Thanks Dot Klerck you are such an inspiration, I love your work!!!
I've ordered this kit from my local shop, it's paint-by-numbers, very easy to paint and quite funny.
Lovely tile from Debra Myers CZT - my fabulous classmate ^_^

I am always drawn to the 'mile a minute plant' as it entwines itself across the landscape at a rate of knots. It sprawls and tangles and is infinitely beautiful !
