This was taken a few weeks ago in one of my macro lense familiarization exercises. It show a very tightly framed (i.e. 1:1 reproduction ratio on the sensor) view of several raindrops on a red with yellow stripes day lily. Love the colours. - JW

Tech Details:

Taken using a hand-held Nikon D7100 fitted with a Tamron 90mm f/2.8 lense, ISO100, Aperture priority mode, f/9.0. 1/50 sec. PP in free Open Source GIMP: slightly adjust the tone curve to a classic 'S' shape, slightly increase contrast, slightly increase saturation, sharpen, add fine black and white frame, ad bar and text on left, scale to 1800 wide for posting.
