Nurul Alam comes from the town of Comilla, where he runs a grocery store. Father of four, he sends all his children to colleges and universities. Due to a recent family financial crisis, he has come to town to work as a rickshawpuller and earn some extra money. He wishes to do this for a few months and make the extra money so that he can return to his hometown.

Living alone isn't easy, he misses homely food and mainly eats at roadside restaurants. And a minimum of 5-6 cups of tea is a must!

PREFACE

"SHADHINOTA is My Cause for the 40th Celebration of BANGLADESH Independence. The land, the mighty rivers and the natural beauty makes Bangladesh a land of unparalleled splendor and magnificence. Bangladesh was liberated after a prolonged war of Independence the declaration of which was given on 26th MARCH 1971. One of the worst genocides Genocide in history took place at the behest of an autocratic regime in the name of Political stability spearheaded by the then Pakistan President Yah ya Khan. After 9 months of Liberation water and the sacrifice of 3 million lives Victory came. In addition to the loss of lives countless others were rendered homeless, the infrastructure including roads and bridges and factories lay in ruins. The people of Bangladesh have shown time and again how resilient they are. After each and every disaster, natural or man-made the people have again stood up and started all over again from scratch.

My Effort here is to pay tribute to the valiant sons of the soil and the ‘die hard’ attitude of a people who can still smile in the face of adversity however great it may be. I plan to make a collage of images that represent the lives of the people of Bangladesh. I encourage you to upload a photo each day till I have a total of 40 images for the Cause SHADHINOTA in the group Frame BANGLADESH"

To be Continued till 26th March 2011

I’ve been snapping these guys for some years, although not quite back to !973. It’s good to see them still going strong and raising money with their performances.

Trusting their lives with Quaren, the Company of Gilaslan followed the strange, barbarian-like man deeper into the darkness of the station's terminals. An ominous cold breeze weaved amongst the towering columns as the weary men entered what seemed to be a larger terminal tunnel. But the men were quick to notice this tunnel was not empty; their vigilant gaze transfixed on a beast of metal sleeping on the tracks. Their eyes followed every curve and edge of the locomotive, examining its massive wheels of stone & lanterns of green glass. Their gaze eventually rested on the front of the train. Quaren's deep voice echoed from behind, "This is the Manticore: the oldest train in Gurganus, and your key to your destination."

"It looks like it's been here for centuries…How can we trust a beast of sleeping metal?" demanded Felthor.

Quaren laughed, "Trust me, your majesty. When awakened, this train will leave you breathless."

Standing closest to the train's front, Talion stepped closer towards the mighty beast. He happened to glance down, and was bewildered at the sight of grass growing amid the wooden railing. "How is there grass here? I thought Talcinine was a wasteland?"

"The Manticore was here long before Talcinine was covered in snow & talc, Sir Talion. The train will run on any surface, snow or grass. But maybe you all should see for yourself…"

Quaren leisurely stepped down onto the tracks. Standing before the train, he closed his eyes, and instantly the Manticore roared to life…

It isn’t the greatest thing that I ever build, but it is okay I guess.

After leaving the town, our four heroes continued on their way to… well, they didn’t really know. The heard rumors that William, one of Edoria’s most valuable commanders and king Edwaeds basterd son was hold in a castle east of Crowleg Lake. You might think that is fairly easy now, but you also need to know that there are over 200 castle’s east of the lake. So, collecting rumors at inns and listening to drunken men’s tales, hoping to get a better idea of where to look.

“How many villages have we seen in the past two weeks” Thirn complained. Celdric lifted his shoulders and looked at the dwarf “If you have a better idea, you’re welcome to share it with us.” “Well” the dwarf said “I would…” but he was interrupted by Martin “Lads, we got company” “Bandits?” Roger asked “Probably, but they are amateurs, that is genuine the worst attempt to make an ambush I have ever seen.” Thirns eyes glammed “Well, let’s teach them what happens if you put up a bad ambush then.”

“Good day, sir's, would you like to donate your gold to a good cause?” The man who seemed to be the leader of the bandits asked. “And that good cause is..?” Roger asked. “Well, you see, until a few weeks ago, I was the captain of a mighty ship. All was well, we completely neutral (which means that they attacked every ship they saw in pirate language.) until that faithful day that we found ourselves in the middle of an awful storm, the ship sank and half the crew drowned, the rest are here with me trying to get a new ship. So I ask again, will you donate all your gold to a good cause?” The four looked at each other and then the ranger said “Ehm, no” “then you will die! NOW BOB!” One of the bandits jumped of a tree branch and tried to hit Celdric, unfortunately for him and his rope knotted itself around his ankle as he fell down, and there he hang, looking rather said. “Well, that didn’t work out very well” then the captain looked at the rest of his men “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, GET THEM.” The bandit charged, but a fireball from Roger and a few arrows from Martin and Celdric and most bandits laid dead on the ground, the rest fled, and so our heroes continued on their way to the next village.
