If you don't quite know what is that colorful thing, it is actually a "Paua Shell"
It is the name given to three species of large edible sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs.
They belong to the family Haliotidae (genus Haliotis), known in the USA as abalone and in the UK as Ormer shells.
They are commonly found in shallow coastal waters along rocky shorelines.
They are such a beauty because of the striking-metalic colors!! =)

In a period of big pain caused by my bad back, I’d love to show this unpublished shot. This photo is part of a project (made1 year ago) that gave me so many emotions and deeply involved me.
I hope that the beautiful woman portrayed (and deliberately unrecognizable) doesn’t hold it against me.

It is a rather ominous warning but the warning is there.
It was during a recent visit to the Menangle railway station and whilst I was there a train was halted due to an incident at Menangle Park station.
I found this particular wheel rather interesting as with its shiny track worn surface it was in total contrast to the remainder of the metal framework that forms the rest of this industrialised mode of transportation.

Strange as it may seem - The Title. It is true. Bud, Daniel moves house - out of Singapore !
Today is a sad day for me, but I am happy for Daniel as he gets a new place (Dubai and surrounds) to shoot and take us there thru his shots. To the day - 9 months and 26 days ! He leaves in a few days and I travel to the US tommorow. Whilst both of us are still in Singapore, this happens to be our last shoot here.
This shot is wholy and solely dedicated to bud and bro - Daniel.
Our next planned shoot session will be in Iceland - May 2009.
I'll leave the details out just this once . It's time most well spent
