More of a 'styled arrangement' than a still life scene, today — with an oriental theme. Strangely, these more 2-dimensional arrangements are harder to get the composition right than the 3-dimensional full scenes — there's less freedom to place items relative to one another... The Coronilla glauca flowers were looking too good to not use them in a simple arrangement and nicely complemented the rest of the design theme.
These days are perfect to go through the harddisks and find some goodies - like this white campion (Silene latifolia)

I guess I haven't been around much. It took me two trips to Croatia to discover one of these cute little jugs in a restaurant in Stari Grad. It took me a while to figure it out, but I guess it's commonly known as a combo or dual vinegar and oil cruet. In this case olive oil. I now think I might need one.
I was going through last summer's trip to the Rockies and came across these unusual mountain tops In Kootenay National Park.

My daughter occupied our tea table to draw her miniature Japanese paintings. I didn't mind taking some shots composing the tabletop materials. Just out of fun. This is one how it resulted. Hope you will enjoy.
