I didn't have time to take this photo until this evening! So it was a little rushed.
Here is a yardstick, extremely foreshortened, because of the angle.
You could call this shot "Fun with Focus Stacking" because it took 280 shots to get it all in focus. Unfortunately, the lighting was wrong, but I had no time to do it over.
This is a well used metal yardstick I bought years ago, so I could cut straight lines in foam board etc without hurting a wooden yardstick. It has been WELL used, as you can see from the scratches.

In an effort to bring in more pollinators to my vegetable garden, I've started trying to grow more flowers. I'm not nearly as successful with flowers as I am with veggies!
Four tracks worth of container cars sit on the westside of the Los Angeles River awaiting an assignment - or the scrapper's torch. In the interim, they act as a canvas for local graffiti artists. A late inbound Orange County train heads towards LAUPT.
