Jellybean demonstrates the motion detection capabilities of the Interactive LED Coffee table. She's annoyed at having too much attention (trying to get her off the table so we can take photos....) so the tail is going. This seems to be common, in fact.
The interactive coffee tables are a collaborative effort between Because We Can and Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories.

GONE - This is a newly-made version of the popular "Tulip" or "Pedestal" series by Eero Saarinen. Somewhat unusually, it is done all in wood, without a contrast surface for the top, making for a much more organic feel.

Asian Inspired Nestling Tables
Great Asian look on this set of three nestling tables. The wood structure is covered with a reddish brown leather and then painted. The painted images, in golden colors, on the top of each table is of various outdoor scenes and the painted images on the sides of the table are of vases. Our Christmas feast, cooked by Steve and hosted by Dan and Carmen, with Rob and Traci also in attendance. We had prime rib, roast vegetables, roast potatoes, garlic butter roasted mushrooms, fancy mac & cheese, pork & chicken roulade for Rob and Traci, and Indian rice pudding for dessert later. Everything was fabulous.
Very pleased with our Thanksgiving 2020 table.
Place mats, dishes (Noritake Angela), napkins, napkin rings, and Danish taper candles... all purchased in a thrift shop.
Interpur Royal Elegance flatware and Slelton Danish steel candle holders purchased on eBay.
Flower arrangement purchased at Bunches Los Gatos. I splurged but heck, why not?

TABLE LAMP XII
The lamp is made of Senegalese gourd.
White carvings are deeper layer of white wood which allows some light to pass through it.
The base is carved from wood and finished with natural oil. The supporting stem is finished with black jeweller waxed string.
Diameters of the gourd are 20 and 22cm, lamp is 39,5cm high.
Oh I've been looking forward to making table lamps for aaaaages! They weren't too hard to make either. Spray adhesive makes the whole process so much easier...

This burr elm table was made by my friend and I.
A dead Camperdown Elm tree stood at Ayr cemetery and for safety reasons had to come down. I was sent to cut it down. The tree had a large burr on it and I saw the potential for some nice furniture so I sliced it accordingly and brought home about five pieces. My friend Ian, who is a joiner to trade, carried out most of the work to turn the raw wood into coffee tables. We have currently made two which are in our houses.
