Antique Chinese Tea Table
Traditionally used to serve tea from and place tea service on. Today makes an excellent bed side or end table. This Chinese tea table has a carved apron on all four sides near the top, a shelf in the center, and an open fret-wood shelf near the bottom. The squared legs end in a modest horse hoof design. The finish is medium brown.

SATELLITE TABLES / MESAS SATELITE
HONEVO DESIGN
Table Cape, near Wynyard, on the north west coast of Tasmania. The lighthouse dates from 1888.
I think I have fallen in love with lighthouses as subjects, and we have plenty of nice ones on both sides of Bass strait. I feel a series coming on...
The challenge I set myself in the processing was to bring out the details in the bricks, while keeping everything else under control. With a bit of work in photomatix, I think I got there. The framing is as shot. I considered some cropping, but I think what I really wanted was more photo, not less. Too late for that.
Almost did colour, which looked nice too.
This is the first workbench I made. The parts for the legs for the larger main build table are pre cut and stacked on top. This smaller table was built to the size of the pre-cut 2'x4' plywood sheets that Home Depot carries. I didn't have a circ saw or anything else to cut a larger table top.
This project was for bootstrapping the workshop. So there was basically nothing in there. I had to rent a miter saw from Home Depot to get the tables done.

The table was always popular with the cats, especially when they were younger and could easily jump up. With only old or infirm cats left, the table is now cat free. However, here is Tigger in May of 2017 on the table in Yubari, enjoying being the center of attention.

Table was spray painted metallic blue , then chalk painted multiple colours and sanded back , then triple waxed, and had with six coats of gloss varnish to finnish..
An idea for a D&D gaming table. The raised glass area would allow players to keep their books, dice and character sheets below.
single leg swivel allows you to rotate the lower table 360 degrees and stow it away nicely when not needed.
