It is still cold & windy outside. We cannot sit nearby the sea, enjoying delicius seafood and drinking ice-cold beers. But the tables are there and waiting for us...

I have seen the dishes in a color variation, where the white parts were pink and the pink was white. Always on the look out for that set!

After Marco's Bachelor party, I have memorized how to make the table that we challenge Marco to do.
So, I made another one (with some size-changes) and called it my own BBQ table!
The table remains 30" tall, but now is 20" x 20" on top.

Since I'm not decorating for Christmas with a tree and other things this year, I've decided to dress the table up nicely for the season. Of course I chose Puce as the main colour. I just love Red! I'll make sure I have fresh festive flowers on the table every day as well. I'll do more next year in our new home!

Sassette: What are you doing?
Snappy: Nanny told me to set the table.
Sassette: You're doing it wrong.
Snappy: No I'm not!
Sassette: You have the silverware in the wrong places.
Snappy: I do not!
Sassette: You do so!
Snappy: You think you know everything, don't you!
Sassette: The spoon goes on the right of the plate. The fork goes on the left. The knife goes between the plate and the spoon.
Snappy: Well, that's really a stupid way to do it.
Sassette: You say everything's stupid.
Snappy: No I don't!
Sassette: And you argue about everything.
Snappy: I do not!
Sassette: Just wait 'til Nanny sees how you set the table. She'll make you change it.
Snappy: Then you do it!
Sassette: No way! Come on, Baby. Let's go read a book on the couch.
Baby Smurf: Okay!

Low stools like our lovely adjustable ones here allow you to appreciate the complex lines of the table's legs and construction. It seats six easily, and eight squeezily (but pleasingly!).
looked down and this little monster was looking up at me. seconds later I accidentally smeared his eyes across the table with the trailing cuff of my shirt. see ya table Monster!
