For Oh Fransson's vintage sheet swap. This tablecloth is a woven cotton with a really soft feel.

My hazel atlas plates look so pretty against my new tablecloth just had to photograph them again haha.

Tablecloths and bedding were over in this area.

This is from the liquidation of Macy's at Midway Mall in Elyria, Ohio. This closing is sadder since it is my hometown Macy's store. I had only been in here once in the preceding five years, so I certainly didn't help keep the store open...

This store opened in 1990 as a May Company department store. This 105,000 square foot store replaced an O'Neil's / May Company store in Lorain. In the early 1990s, this store rebranded as Kaufmann's. In 2006, the store was rebranded to Macy's. In January 2016, Macy's decided to close this location. At the time of writing this (early March 2016), the store is having its liquidation sale.

I needed something different and salvaged from archives this shot from 2 phones ago with a bit of PS abuse and a self-made texture (I very rarely use any, but was inspired by @soulsurfing)

Hand embroidered linen table cloth

I love vintage textiles.

Bought a few years back while antiquing with Betty.

Sunday vintage

Jan and I went to a concert, last night, at Mission San Juan Capistrano by a Neil Diamond impersonator, with our daughter and son-in-law and two of their friends and we had a blast! At least, I did. A couple of times, I wished that I had my camera with me, until I finally realized that I did have my iPhone with me. Our son-in-law, Dave, was playing around with a plastic water bottle, making designs on the tablecloth which I thought were interesting, so I took a few shots and a couple came out pretty good (for an iPhone.)

San Juan Capistrano is a beautiful mission and the thought of having a Neil Diamond concert inside of it seemed a bit incongruous to me, but I got over that feeling right away, realizing that it was for a good cause, which was maintaining and restoring the mission.

I was reminded of the occasion when my Flickr friend Denise, who lived in Vancouver at the time, but now lives in France, and I shot there together and we also had a great time then. I'm sure she would feel just as surprised to attend a Neil Diamond concert there, but I think she would be just as pleased as I was.

My mother made this tablecloth. She could applique with the tiniest stitches I've ever seen. I don't think my son appreciates it, so I'll ask him to pass it along to my brother and sister-in-law after me.

I found this at Michael's (craft store) and thought it was cool. I bought some past-their-prime bargain tulips at the grocery store yesterday to go in it.

he likes to sit on my mom's dining room table and watch the birds. This time, I guess he decided that he needed to clean up the tablecloth...

Great old rack and more tablecloths.

Thanks Lee for keeping on reminding me of 1/3 the rule, I am listening :)

Tablecloth made for my daughter's coffeetable. Used DMC embroidery floss, Red Heart size 3 black crochet thread and E hook.

I found some mint condition, new with tag, Danish Modern tablecloths at my local Amvets for $9 each. My favorite so far.

This red and white polka-dot-dress does remind me of how tablecloths used to look in the old films, but at least it gives you guys an excuse to to feast your eyes.
