In the Ozgon Bazaar near Osh.

Today the town is mostly an agricultural centre with sunflowers, tobacco and especially rice all being important crops. Ozgon has a university, a brewery and a distinctive bazaar that is very Uzbek in character.

made a tablecloth with napkins (handkerchiefs) from our wedding

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Sis Boom fabrics. Not only for the design and the way it triggers such a comfortable feeling in me but also for the quality of the fabric.... It just feels so good sliding along under the needle! My other favorite material to work with is damaged vintage tablecloths. Here they are together!

Old House, Ubá, MG.

Leaves and buds were all I could salvage for theses booties as the tablecloth was pretty stained.

No, I didn't decorate these. They came from a local bakery. Thing was? I didn't even get to taste them. Harumph!

With the help of two of my flickr friends (SarahLaBu and cher hart) I've started up a new group for 2012. One word per week. Open to your interpretation how it's photographed. I'd love to have you join: www.flickr.com/groups/1801809@N25/

Just as I remember it...

A piece of table cloth I noticed while in Hawaii. I was drawn to the repetitivness of the pattern.

And the tablecloth is coloured. We used water colour markers to colour the tablecloth . We celebrated 2 fun filled days of Christmas at our son’s home.

I used to make brownies this way all the time. My husband and daughter didn't want nuts in them and my son and I did. If you sprinkle the nuts on top of half the pan it's immediately clear which is which.

such beautiful stitching...

This make me happy, and didn't feel it in me to shoot much today.

Before this became a tablecloth it was a wallhanging. So glad the colors go with new pad.

Bought a new phone with a bunch of chargers but I can't figure out this new VOIP..so, the one in the kitchen that I set up does not appear to be working.

Still not sure where the heck the voicemail is.. Do i use the machine? or the web?..

Also, can't figure out why i can't send email from my emac that is connected via ethernet. Spent time trying to send something, only to spend more time opening up a web-based email account just so I can send email.

Well...now that Ive whined enought. Have a nice nite!
