A drop leaf table made from English ash with white lacquered leaves to add contrast and texture.
The legs use sliding dovetail joints to attach to the table top and they have a narrow spread to maximise leg room for diners around the table.
The diametre of the table is 120cm.
The ash is finished with Osmo Raw polyx-oil

This is the Reflected Wedges Table Runner by Jacquie Gering from "Modern Patchwork" special edition published by Quilting Daily. I wanted to try it out before using some of my better fabrics so I used some inexpensive batiks I had leftover from a Christmas project. Its a nice pattern -went together easily and I'm looking forward to trying it in several other color/pattern combinations-but these JoAnn batiks are a great less expensive option.
Reclaimed Heart Pine Top with Red Birch Legs & Frame
This table is our sofa table. The table is made from Reclaimed Heart Pine from the early 1800’s. The legs & frame are made from Red Birch. The Red Birch came from Deadhead Lumber Co.
They are a local Maine company reclaiming logs that were cut over 100 years ago and then sunk in Moosehead lake, Maine. As a green, rediscovered wood product, DeadHead Lumber qualifies for LEED Certification points.
Our tabletops are protected with WOCA Oil from Denmark. WOCA oil contains primarily cold pressed vegetable oils and is free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), making it environmentally friendly. WOCA Oil is very durable and can protect the top from its daily use. The frame and legs are coated with linseed oil, which is natural and pressed from flax seed. We then cover the frame and legs with natural beeswax to bring out the color.

These tables for customers of Nathans' Famous hot dog stand (established 1916) are located adjacent to the original Nathan's location in Coney Island - Brooklyn, New York City.
The huge structure in the background is the Parachute Jump. This defunct amusement ride has been called the "Eiffel Tower of Brooklyn". It was built for the 1939 New York World's Fair in Flushing Meadows Park, Queens, and moved to its current site in 1941. The steel structure is 262 feet tall.
Designed by Filipe Alarcão, Portugal's renowned product designer, the Gem table is made with DuPont's monteli. A new material very similar to Corian. The monteli however absorbs the bonding of specific glue differently, making it impossible to view the pieces connecting. The end result is a piece that looks like it's been carved from a single stone. This item was manufactured in a limited numbered edition and each unit includes a signed certificate engraved in the bottom of each GEM.

The entire table is assembled using nuts and bolts, so it can be disassembled and moved as needed. Before final delivery, I brought it up to my apartment roof for some photos.

i have a bunch of these little shelving units, in various sizes and configurations. they were actually gift boxes that held wooden brain teasers. i have bought several over the year. the brain teasers themselves become stocking stuffers for various family members, or go in to shoe boxes for operation christmas child (they make great gifts for boys 10-14.) i had planned to use them in my pukifee bedroom. but ended up with more than i needed. these 3 were exactly the same heigtht and are going to get re-purposed as a craft table. the top is a pine board from michaels. the width was perfect and it just needed to be shortened slightly.
