I modeled these to a client yesterday, really fast modeling because the deadline was extremely short so I couldn’t model the screw holes and other minor details. I used poly modeling and splines.
This project reminds me when I worked as a furniture designer… I’ll post some of my work another day.

We don't have too much furniture at our new house, so our first meal
there was out back on the "dining room table".

Nantwich Station signal box was closed in October 2013 and following a campaign to save the structure from demolition by Network Rail, it was moved in January 2016 to Crewe. Following refurbishment, the signal box commenced a new life as part of the Railway Exchange Training Academy [RETA].

Swedish designers Sanna Lindstrom and Sigrid Stromgren have collaborated to bring you the Grand Central table, an expandable piece of furniture inspired by a pop-up map of New York.
Twenty-two different pieces unfurl to make the tabletop as the legs open from an L to an X, so the user can go from having this stowed in the corner to making it the center of the room.
Not just a CG-rendered concept, the Grand Central will be on display at Milan.

Located in the East Village, the "comfy" Amsterdam Billiards is “spacious” enough to provide “tables for everyone” and inviting enough for any players on every level.
I rescued this table from a pile of stuff left behind in a house after the renters took off a while back. I have been keeping an eyes open for a table that I could put in the shed and use for a shelf above the lawn mower. The floor was pretty crowd. That table is heavy, it was a pain to carry home and get in to the back yard.
3 way interlocking glueless joinery, the top to leg joinery is hidden. The table has an eastern maple top, cherry legs, and birch ( my best guess) cross members.

Using Penny’s tutorial sewtakeahike.typepad.com/sewtakeahike/2010/05/linen-napki... for linen napkins, I crafted this identical set with Heather Bailey’s Pop Garden Ivory Sway and natural linen. This fabric captures every color my partner yearns for....

It's my first lamp made of Senegalese calabash. Because of thickness of the fruit ( in some places it was over 1,5cm) carved parts are very deep. On the top of the lamp there's closing part locked by magnets. The lamp was painted with wood oil in rosewood color. Black parts of the pattern are burnt calabash surface.
The base of the the lamp is carved from the block of alder wood and painted in the same color as lampshade . The stand is decorated with black jewellery waxed string.
Height of the lamp: 38cm (15”)

This is how the table appears when it is used. The knobs visable under the refrigerator control the functions of it and are set into a custom wooden trim piece.
Clean and serene, with ample surface area for the wall of shame I was to gather one one end.
