Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa, and is featured in the flag of Cape Town and other local government insignia.[2] It is a significant tourist attraction, with many visitors using the cableway or hiking to the top. The mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park.
Shown is the Harmony single pedestal base that is 54"round solid top with a waterfall edge. The 4 side chairs around are our Sierra Deluxe's. Shown in GH fabric #A8776.

I've uploaded this picture to show the people who were with me today at Chimneyville Crafts Festival that the bench as coffee table turned out great. Or at least I think it did. I think it's perfect. (I regret that I didn't flip love seat cushions to put dog side down before taking the picture.)
This is also an experiment with uploading a picture from the new and very different computer. I miss Lview! I have no idea what software allowed me to view this picture. Since I rarely edit a picture in any way before adding it to Flickr, knowing anything about the software didn't matter. It will matter, though, when I start dealing with tombstone pictures for Find-a-Grave since resizing and cropping is necessary.
Busy teaching since my recital!
Sorry for being absent.
I will visit tomorrow night!
All the best,
I posted more from the recital online:

I still have to varnish it and maybe paint the legs, but the painting on the top is finished! This table was inspired by this one, found here on Flickr. The table itself is a little wooden table that you can buy at Fred Meyer for around $9. The legs screw on and off so it's nice and portable to take to events.
The artwork is my SCA heraldic achievement.
Motto: In tenebris lux, "light in the darkness."
Arms: Per chevron argent and vert, three beacons counterchanged.
Crest: On a cushion per pale azure and sable, a mullet of eight points Or.
Torse and mantle: vert and argent (green and white) with the white side of the mantle being goutty de sang (spotted with red drops) to reflect my membership in the Order of the Goutte de Sang.
Helm: gray.
In An Tir, this is the achievement at the Grant of Arms level. Before I had the GoA, my achievement didn't have a crest, and it didn't have the red drops on the mantle.
The mantle is relatively simple because it is supposed to be an earlier style than the late-period ones that had really elaborate mantles.
Speaking of simple, beacons are not. If I had realized what a pain in the butt they are, I might have put something else on my heraldry.
N.B.: The helm is dark grey, NOT silver. Silver helms with gold trim are reserved in An Tir -- for counts and countesses, I think. I did not remember this when I put the gold on mine; I just had gold paint left over so I thought I'd be decorative. However, the helm is NOT silver so I don't think it's too presumptuous. I would change the trim but I've already varnished this. Oops!
A 43"x18" play table converted to play Legends of Chima on. Frame was reclaimed from an old sand/water table that a preschool was throwing away. Play surface was made with 1/2" MDF and covered with textured wallpaper and painted in various washes and dry brushing layers. The rocks are made from foam and covered in drywall...compound (?) to make them withstand speedorz crashing into them. Sides were then covered in sand and woodland scenics flocking. Plants were made from chopped up aquarium plants I snagged on the cheap from petsmart.
Here is a little peek of what I am making for my partner. There will be two different sets of two...I hope you like them!!!
Normally TV is accused of destroying your mind (not a view I subscribe to) but in this case the tables have been turned. This was found on the beach at Salthouse just after the storm surge. I'm guessing this was washed out of a beach hut somewhere but there's no real way of knowing.

Apparently we don't have a table cloth long enough to cover the whole table. I was sewing the runner until about 10 minutes before guests arrive

Creative Photography have an exhibition at the hospital and this is one of the pics on display. It's 20x30 in a frame so definately looks a lot better than this collection of 0's and 1's
These table are still going super strong after the skaters, the fire, the extreme Brisbane weather and even some urbex'ers, having fun on them ;)

Another artwork. Hand carved, modern rustic purple table. Special made for glass top, which customer will choose by herself, as was discussed.Depends from her own wishes.
So, this is a table, made, based on the special made unique sketch. Table top frame, waived legs.
New pine wood, hand carved in rustic style. Painted by natural handmade paint, wood finish - based on the natural beeswax.
This table has leather pads on the legs, for safe using on the floor. Really, one of a kind, beautiful modern table, with rustic character in it.

Swedish designers Sanna Lindstrom and Sigrid Stromgren have collaborated to bring you the Grand Central table, an expandable piece of furniture inspired by a pop-up map of New York.
Twenty-two different pieces unfurl to make the tabletop as the legs open from an L to an X, so the user can go from having this stowed in the corner to making it the center of the room.
Not just a CG-rendered concept, the Grand Central will be on display at Milan.

What’s on my bedside table: a devotional book, a clock radio (hidden behind the book), a telephone, and a lamp with a broken base. And yes, that’s an “old fashioned” telephone with a cord that attaches it to the wall. I don’t think it’s good idea to have wireless devices close to me while I’m sleeping. The lamp is one of my favorites. A cat knocked it off a desk many years ago, and broke the base. I didn’t want to lose the lamp, so I glued it back together.
I have been away from Flickr since last March. Can't really say why, I just started looking at challenge themes and drawing blanks. I lost my creative energy. But I've really missed the Flickr community, so am back and trying again. And starting to have ideas. This has been one of my favorite groups, so I thought it would be a good place to start. Thank you to the administrators for letting me back in, as I only managed 1 picture for the group last year!

Located in the East Village, the "comfy" Amsterdam Billiards is “spacious” enough to provide “tables for everyone” and inviting enough for any players on every level.
The colours red, white and blue are replaced with oak, maple and walnut in this low coffee table.
The design of the flag is wrapped around the sides as seen in the images. The table has been designed to be flat pack with the legs unscrewing and bolting to the underneath of the table top. Therefore making it very easy to send.
I rescued this table from a pile of stuff left behind in a house after the renters took off a while back. I have been keeping an eyes open for a table that I could put in the shed and use for a shelf above the lawn mower. The floor was pretty crowd. That table is heavy, it was a pain to carry home and get in to the back yard.
Parkour (sometimes also abbreviated to PK) or l'art du déplacement(English: the art of movement) is an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment—from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls—and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas. Parkour practitioners are referred to as traceurs, or traceuses for females.
Founded by David Belle and a group of friends in France, parkour focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop one's body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency.
