While replacing a scratchy pot I took a couple of shots of the interior of my Polymorph. The replacement pot I used was
Digi-Key part no. CT2265-ND. The shaft was 3mm too short, but other than that it seemed identical.
Here's the extent of the rust on the baseplate inside my MC505. The rust is quite established which suggests to me it's been there since manufacture. There's all a deffinate difference in sheen of the metal.
