The juvies stay very close together.

Crews spread sand and gravel on the parking lots all winter long to provide traction on the snow and ice. The high school swim team raises money by sweeping up the mess left behind each spring. That's teamwork!

These dolphins were swimming next to our boat while we were whale watching in the San Diego bay.

Ok, so I am easily amused :-)

It could be my imagination, but pairs of King Penguins often seemed to walk side by side and do 'the mirror', matching each other's behaviors and postures. These are subadult birds, so not courting per se, but they might be practicing.

Note to self: find a bigger box for Mouse

These two were coming directly towards the house but turned back when a third called to them from across the field and they wheeled back and motored off.

Danielle and her two friends won 1st place in every category. Danielle has 3 ribbons all 1st place. Her biggest win was out of all 51 girls she won 1st place in all four novice swimming figures. Then these 3 girls won 1st in Team and 1st in Duet.

The cicada song goes in waves and at a certain point in the cycle, the guys all go for a fly around. Looks to be about 5-6 seconds between each little jaunt. I wonder how/why they get synchronized.
