The moment I turned on the heated blanket underneath the quilt, Mikesch and Katie got ready to practice the kitty discipline of synchronized napping. They're getting pretty good at it, except it wouldn't hurt for Mikesch to eat a little bit less. He weighs more than twice as much as little Katie.

In the spirit of the Olympics Link and Frank were doing a synchronized pestering of Bella next door. They even matched tail wagging.
There are a couple of ponds in Terrace Heights Cemetery in Yakima, WA. The larger one was half ice with lots of mallards, a few wood ducks and two lovely swans. The swans were the only ones who swam over to us--the others swam the other way.
