It's a beautiful sunny day in London today....and a perfect light to capture the first of the spring bulbs to have sprung in the garden....I love spring flowers!!

At any given time there will be at least one seagull taking a bath in the freshwater stream that empties into the ocean.

I automatically assume the seagull is bathing in order to clean the saltwater off its feathers, but I really have no way of getting into head and understanding its motivation.

If the image is a little shaky, it's because I shot the video with a 300mm telephoto lens on my Nikon D7200. The small field of view means that the slightest tremor makes the lens move wildly back and forth or up and down.

Mother and child snail performing their synchronized skimming across my living-room window. Apologies for the disgracefully dirty window.....Cleaning windows is not my thing!!

Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana (pronounced ACHE-ah POD-ah, eka = one, pada = foot or leg)

Perform Urdhva Dhanurasana. Shift your weight onto the left foot and, with an exhalation, bend your right knee and draw it into your torso. Then inhale and extend the right leg at about a 45 degree angle relative to the floor. Hold for 5 to 10 seconds, exhale, bend the knee and return the foot to the floor. Repeat with the left leg for the same length of time.

We went to the beach last weekend. My pics SU-UUUCK from it. The light was terrible. But this one cracks me up of my middle 2.
