As I mentioned earlier in this series, professional cameras weren't allowed in the concert, so I brought my old Canon Powershot. The swivel LCD came in very handy, although the Powershot takes sooooo long to focus compared to my 5D. As balloons bounced all over the room, it seemed almost impossible to capture a shot at just the right moment.

DSC_0695: This is bizarre tale of coincidence or synchronicity. Take your pick.
Last Sunday I was shooting my "Under Pressure" video with a full can of Coke Zero. I manipulated it to expand and contract using special effects on the computer.
A few hours later, my daughter wanted a Coke Zero but it wasn't getting cold enough in the fridge so I told her to put it in the freezer.
We forgot about it overnight and she remembered it in the morning.
She brought it out and the can had expanded to be the one on the right above. Luckily it didn't explode.
Now, isn't that odd that I graphically manipulated a can just hours before this happened?
It was quite interesting that I was in the house working on a research project concerning "The Theories on Synchronicity" when this package arrived by UPS, and I noticed the slogan on the side of the truck.
This is very odd.
The Album Cover is of The Green Hornet Soundtrack, A short lived TV program that went off the air 40 years ago.
And Linda had claimed that this was her album from long ago.
But i distinctly recall buying this album myself, AND---!!!
Something odd happened when i got my album.
This by the way, is the ONLY Album that i can recall having ANY Memories related to it...!!!
So Anyways...
i distinctly recall buying it at Fred Meyers when the TV show was on, Even though it was Not one of my favorite programs, But i did like the sound track theme music.
When i got it home, We discovered that the record inside was of Christmas Carols, And it was in the middle of the Summer...!!!
So we took it back to Fred Meyers,
And they gave me a new Album,
Which was checked at the Store, And the new one had The Green Hornet Record in it...!!!
Linda didn't seem to appreciate the syncronicity of this at all...!!!
They were commissioned by Discovery Green and implemented by the Houston Arts Alliance and the City, which owns the largest two of the four-piece ensemble because they clad the city’s two underground garage stair structures.
Margo Sawyer, a professor of art at the University of Texas at Austin, conceived and fabricated the metal boxes while she was participating in the master planning for the park. Their paint is used on drilling platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. The major pieces are “blue” and “red.” Sawyer created two “echoes” that are part of the ensemble – the orange-themed boxes at The Grove and a mix of colors at HPL Express. She believed the park would benefit from color, and she delivered many times over.
Sawyer's work offers some of the most popular photo spots in the park.
