After some research I finally figured out how to get my flashes to do high speed sync past the normal 1/250th my camera is supposed to do. This image was shot at 1/8000 shutter speed to try and stop the water in our sink at work. Now that I have a better understanding of this I want to implent some more dynamic stopping of motion in some portraits
I synced my iPhone, properly disconnected from iTunes then grabbed my phone and tried to use the iPod feature and saw this message. Strange.
Sorry for the poor image, I had my crappy old camera and was trying to get a shot quickly just in case the message went away. It did go away...after a few minutes after hitting the Home button.
these people were watching an interview with Salvador Dali the surrealist, at the Dali exhibit at the High museum. The 'lip' furniture,people and blurry screen all seemed strange and apropos to the surreal theme of the Dali exhibit, I was waiting to snap Dali's face on the screen.. to make the scene more strange looking, but the 'guards' were a few feet away and there are rules against photographing..I may try it again on another visit...to me it seemed like a scene from a very strange Hitchcock movie.
The derelict auction mart at Thornhill, on the G&SW, was closed about the time the Voyagers were brought into service.
The dilapidated shed on the left nicely echoes the Voyager colour scheme as it passes with a Glasgow Cental to Carlisle emergency service due to a landslip at Beattock
