Taking a break again from the Southwest photos to revisit a few from fall in the Midwest....won't be long before winter arrives so I thought it would be nice to share a few from autumn...just to hold on a bit longer and delay the inevitable. Hope you enjoy!!!!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday....and as always, thanks for stopping by to visit :-)
Pure simple symmetry - the water reflecting the cool tones of blue hour on a grey day. Beautiful.

The River Tamar forms the boundary between Cornwall and Devon. Rising only 4 miles from Bude and the Atlantic Ocean, the it flows south, slowly at first, for nearly 50 miles to the English Channel. In its middle reaches the River Tamar winds its way through steep wooded country.
This is also an area strewn with the relics of two centuries of mining and is part of Cornwall's and West Devon's World Heritage Site. On the Cornish side is Cotehele Quay, once a busy port on which the local community depended.

I tried slightly harder last night with this one.

Lens cap on and onto the camera rotation tool to rotate the camera 4 ways for the Bokeh frame using the black fiber optic light painting brush.
Light painting shot during a single long exposure.
This is number 335 of my 366.
Quilters have to be precise with symmetry. This is part of the quilt we were given as a wedding gift in 2009. My friends made it in one weekend after I called them to say we were getting married in two weeks. It is one of my favorite things ever.

this is the view down Moraine Lake to the Rock Pile from where most of the famous shots are taken.
Actual lake view, not a render.

The glossy symmetrical beauty of an acorn cap left behind after a snow melt. Acorn caps have always struck me as having been over-engineered or designed for the simple function they perform. Perhaps just to bring the beauty of symmetry and glossy rich color into our lives.
