Being a part of the Boston photography community and seeing all the inspiring work by other photographers has taught me a lot about symmetry and the importance of having a person in the shot - where in the past I would have thought of people as being in the way, now I try to think of ways to have them add interest to the scene. This building is on Dartmouth street in the Back Bay of Boston. Shot with my iPhone 6s in LRM raw, used LRM to adjust colors and contrast and SKRWT to perfect the symmetry.

This is a “realistic” HDR using 32-bit HDR merge using Photomatix pro plug-in for Lightroom. This is probably the cheapest and easiest piece of software for blending images.

Symmetry is the theme for our local camera club this month. I tried several takes on a trip to the city, but I always come back to nature and I do love trees!
Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
This is a photo of the reflection on the river of the fall foliage. I have mirrored and copied the photo to create the intriguing bilateral symmetry.

Daughter approved! LOL I had until midnight Sunday night to get a photo in. I managed this one at 11:30 PM. PHew!! So like many of my entries on that group it was last minute, cobbled together. Daughter guessed what it was right away...... A colander, but the light was gained by holding it up to the TV. fun stuff! :)
