The file cabinet also displays more lava lamps, including three showing the common three 1970s colors: red/clear, orange/yellow, green/blue. To their left is a 1980s lamp commemorating the USSR space flights, bought off Russian eBay. The hooded brass lamp on the right illuminates the contents of the drawers.
On the far left is a display of unusual vintage decorative light bulbs, and a rare 1930s Edwards door chime with chrome bells and a circular mirror topped by a glass finial. The light switch plate below (for the back porch light) has a mirrored switchplate to match. Note the glowing flowers in pots, see next photo...

I don't think I ever noticed light switch shadows before! Taken just before sunset on the winter solstice
I sometimes like working on these because they are so small that you have to be creative when trying to design them. It really pairs down mosaics into very simple forms. It's definitely a challenge. Most of this batch went to a friend's house.
