Drag Brunch at The Walnut Room at Macy's, hosted by Lucy Stoole - The Finale. Today's show featured dance performances to Taylor Swift songs. The four performers, including the host, are on the other side of the fountain.
I know who the host (and emcee) was because she was listed in the program, but unfortunately I did not note the names of the three performers; I naively thought that I could look them up later.
I am not a "Swiftie" and did not recognize any of the songs except this one, having heard snippets of it while out and about. (Laura told me it's called "Shake It Off.") But I didn't have to recognize the songs to appreciate the excellent performances!

Dear @taylorswift
I made this fanzine to talk about how much you and your music mean to me and I have to find a way to give this to you. I know a lot of people just post on instagram or tumblr, but that wasn't the right thing for me. I had to cut and paste, put it on paper, and share it because I'll hold this then you or someone else might hold it. These are all the feelings and what your art has meant (and continues to mean), how it's helped me through the days. there are drawings and personal stories and lots and lots of words. I write a bit about feminism and the way media treats women, and how I know you've been doing feminism all along, even before you called yourself a feminist.
I move back to New Zealand on Sunday and I so want to give this to you, and I have no idea how that's going to happen. I'm in NYC. I could hand it to one of your bodyguards if they'd give it to you. I'd love to meet you and hand it to you (it's on my list of dream nyc things) but i also respect your privacy and time, and i know you're busy. So maybe one of your guards could meet up with me somewhere and I could give them this fanzine and then you could have the 96 pages I wrote about my Taylor Swift Resiliency Strategy. Truly, you've made such a giant difference in my life and no amount of computer screen could explain it. It has to be on paper. I get a little weepy writing even this
Oh, and what's a fanzine? Well, zines are self-publications, motivated by a desire for self-expression, not for profit. I've been making zines for a long time to share my heart and stories and ideas. It seemed only natural that my first FANzine be about you. I bet your pal @tavitulle knows some great ones.
