Well I did wonder how the wood kept reasonably clean! This fir with its drooping long branches certainly appears to be sweeping up! Taken in Hillock Wood, Buckinghamshire.
There’s nothing about that job that leads me to believe it would be a riveting, jaw-dropping, white-knuckle ride of fun and excitement. But it is a vital function of our operations. In fact, they must be considered as heroes who despite all odds have cleaned our community at large in these days of pandemic .
Just behind this person the environment was filled with choking smokes and smog and this guy was still working in it😌
We must respect them.

It's easy to lose one's sense of time when the weather and landscape merge into one never-ending expanse of white. Last year at this time, I visited some sand dunes that I visit every few years or so. Sometimes they are inaccessible due to muddy road conditions or the sand has blown the dunes across the road beyond what my vehicle has the capacity to power through. So I decided to visit them through digging through my archives and wandering around in their amazing formations and natural undulations.
One of numerous chimney sweeper moths seen in the Bill Smyllie field at Prestbury Hill nature reserve on a recent visit.
Anyway I already faved most of my contacts by phone, as I was out whole day and was not thought to post a picture...
I see a few of these run around the Borough and seem to be very effective at sweeping up litter and rubbish.
As seen on a walk.

Sweeper at working and love the reflections behind the fog with little rays at top between the trees. In left corner discussing with supervisor another working guy totally reflecting beauty of the nature
Is this a dead meme now or not.
The one fig I built for the Apoc collaborative at Brick Fair this year. He had a cool TT gun from toby but i didn't snag a pic while there so now he's got that old brickarms design one

Thanks to the following for elements of this image:
I have never accounted this extremely small black moth before. I read about it online and found it's a moth called Chimney Sweeper, baes in the UK area. Despite this I found it Finland flying among my parents plants and rarely photographed since it's so small and shy.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Stop everywhere grab everything.
Union Pacific 8917 drops through a patch of flowering Chihuahuan Bricklebrush (White) and Desert Broom (Yellow) as it descends from the Dragoon Mountains with an "Alfalfa" El Paso, Texas to Fourth Street Los Angeles, California manifest in tow. The train has been rumbling around the Chihuahuan Desert for the whole day with a large pickup, set out accompanied with a crew change at Lordsburg, New Mexico. The next crew continuing west towards Tucson has cleared out set out tracks at both Karro and Raso picking up and single well intermodal car for PCT and CRDX Covered Hopper at the respective places. The train still has more work to do in Arizona with a set out at Picacho for the Phoenix area, before heading for the Golden State where it will march toward the LA Basin to work meticulously stopping just about everywhere until it's final destination.
This is another species that has been on my list for some time which is also common at a number of sites across the mendips in June and July. However getting close to one of these active little moths is not easy.
A trip up to Priddy early yesterday morning changed that with this one weighed down by so much dew it was not going anywhere until the sun was up.
Best viewed very large.
