This time was much more successful. I applied the solder paste with the tip of a sewing needle. Smearing it across the pads until I thought I had enough.

This 260-space surface car park (screened by trees and vegetation) will soon be devoured by massive earthworks for the: "erection of a six storey 400 space public multi-storey car park and the erection of three 4/5/6/7 storey student accommodation buildings (comprising 378 student bedrooms arranged in cluster flats and studios) together with landscaping and associated works.

Surface Magazine No. 65 documents work for the "Project to Surface" exhibition, 2007. The exhibition featured the work of artists David Diao, Kaws, Leah Raintree, Kenji Hirata, Matzu-MTP, adapted by Ben Krone, into 3dimensional pieces that we then programmed for CNC milling.
This was a shot from up at Comet Falls Yesterday. I mentioned in an earlier post that the trail was roped off with a sign that read " Trail Closed. Due to abumdant avalance debris the trail is not passable. A fall through the snow in this area could be fatal." All i can say is that after hiking 2 miles and climbing 1,000 feet in elevation in 90 degree weather just to reach the end and see this sign is quite discouraging. I met a couple of hikers from Canada on the way up and all I can is... Peer pressure can sometimes be a ...... We found a way of talking each other into making the trek across the snow that was over the top of the river so that we could get to the falls. Of course it took my new Canadian friend and "Experienced Hiker" to finally put my mind at ease and we crossed with no problems. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a bit nervous. As we got across you could see that the snow was a good 10 feet thick in several areas and as little as 6 in others. This was a shot from the otherside where it had melted out below.
This is designed to be printed as a width-wise repeat (it's 42" wide from blue selvedge edge to blue selvedge edge)--I am thinking it would make a killer Donna-Reed-style dress. If I decide to print it with Spoonflower, I will probably add a subtle pattern to the blue background try to avoid the banding issues that some have had with dark, solid colors.

Just Pinned to Tennis Court Markings: Cycle Lane Line Markings...
The species label for this image was changed to Henriettea sp. on 10-Mar-2023. Unfortunately, I have not been here when this specimen had flowers or fruit. Many of the photos now labeled Henriettea sp. are of the same tree over 9+ years. The dense magenta indumentum on the abaxial surface has been consistent and seems distinctive, yet I have not found a species description that describes this character. I would very much appreciate help with identifying this species.
