Hardee's ® helped the USO of Missouri to welcome over 4,000 military personnel from Fort Leonard Wood as they passed through Lambert St. Louis International Airport on their way home for the holidays. Holiday Block Leave, the day when military installations release their personnel for the holidays. We were also thrilled to be able to present the USO of Missouri with a check for $10,000. The grant came from chain's 2011 Stars for Troops fundraising efforts.
This basically shows how im feeling lately. Lots of friends are in the Marine Corp. or the Navy. My boyfriend is preparing for Afghanastan in Japan and my best friend has been in Afghanastan for almost a month now. Luckly my bf is coming home for a visit soon, you will most likely have some emotional pictures from that reunion

At the Butterdome in Edmonton Alberta. Yes that's a whole wolf. It made me think of the Space Wolves army that Duncan is creating right now in 40K.

4th Annual Mother Son Adventure on July 21, 2012 at Cottonwood Park on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER). The theme was "Angry Birds in the Park" and despite the rain it was quite party! For the second year in a row we were visited by a small black bear, and a momma moose brought her son by too!

Troopers from Bravo Battery, Field Artillery Squadron, 2d Calvary Regiment and Latvian Soldiers of Fire Support Company, Combat Support Battalion, fire the M777 155mm Howitzer during Operation Summer Shield XII at Adazi Military Base, Latvia, March 27, 2015. Latvian Soldiers have been cross training on the weapon system for nearly two weeks to prepare for this event. The weapons familiarization training is part of Operation Summer Shield XII a 10-day evolving training process during which partner forces from the U.S., Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Germany, Canada and the United Kingdom will work alongside one another in combined arms and live-fire maneuvers. This is the first exercise in which artillery pieces of this magnitude will be fired on Latvian soil since WWII. Operations like OSS XII provide great platforms to expand the involvement of U.S. troops in the region improving interoperability and confidence among NATO allies. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. I'm surprised it took me this long to find a version in Spanish, and I'm doubly surprised I found it in New York instead of Houston.

Representatives from Operation FINALLY HOME, the City of Irving, Winston Homes, NEC and other members of the Irving community were on hand as Major Eric King and his family were given the keys to their new, mortgage-free home. Operation FINALLY HOME provides mortgage-free homes to service members and their families who have become wounded, ill, or injured as a result of their service in the defense of our country. The NEC Corporation of America Foundation, supported by contributions from NEC employees, became involved with this mission and helped to sponsor the construction of a new home for a true American hero. NEC employees also participated in fundraisers to buy needed furniture and appliances for the King family as well as volunteering their time to do landscaping and build furniture at the property. #veterans #USArmy #supportourtroops #GivingBack
