This was Dagenham United's first friendly match of the new season. Well pleased with a 3-1 win as Sporting Hackney are a league above us and had won their last three friendly matches.

As I try to improve my own skills in spoon carving, I have come to realize that along with improving my knife skills by more and more practice, I also need to see examples of spoons carved by talented spoon carvers.

I introduce to you, a bike named Bruce. While sitting out for most of November and December last year with a broken hand, I put a lot of thought into what I wanted for 2021. A fat bike was not the first thought, but the idea grew on me and thanks to Mitch and the crew over at Black Saddle Bike Shop I was able to get a custom Surly Wednesday. This bike is badass, and will allow me to extend my riding into winter and the trails beyond! Any guesses why I named him Bruce?
