Verdi 15 Occupata.

Limited Edition Teal Jasmine deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by her included display stand.

Because of the weight of her hair, when it is placed in its natural position behind her, it unbalances her and makes her head and back lean backwards. The base of the doll stand is slick and the top clamp doesn't help that much to keep her in position, so she tends to slide forwards on the stand as well. So it's a chore to make her stand straight up for the photos (or just for displaying her). Red Jasmine has a similar problem that is even more severe, since her pony tail juts out behind her, and her neck and upper torso joints aren't as stiff as they are on my Teal Jasmine.

Detailed photos of my pre-ordered Teal Jasmine 17 inch doll. I picked her up on release day (Tuesday October 13, 2015) from my local Disney Store. She is #1834 of 5000. She has a similar color difference between her torso and the rest of her body (including her head) as that of my Red Jasmine doll. There is golden sheen in her torso that is especially noticeable in her neck and upper chest. I like Teal Jasmine much more than I thought I would from my initial look at the stock photos and even seeing the display doll in person, although Red Jasmine is still my favorite of the two.

She is photographed boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed. She is also posed with other comparable dolls.

THANK YOU, John Curley and the San Francisco Chronicle, for printing some photos from my Then and Now series in this week's edition of the Chronicle's 96 Hours entertainment section. To see my family photos in the paper means the world to me and will thrill my family to no end.

Good weekends, my friends! I can't put into words what you mean to me.

PS. If you can identify the Bay Area landmark pictured here, don't tell! I'm going to run a few more photos of it before I describe it. And no, it isn't the Palace of Fine Arts. It isn't even located in the county of San Francisco.

March Past at Portsmouth’s Guildhall for Armed Forces Day. Picture: LA(Phot) Maxine Davies

More than 120 sailors paraded through Portsmouth today (June 27) as part of the Royal Navy’s contribution to Armed Forces Day.

The parade, organised by the City Council, was led by the Portsmouth Royal Marines Band and involved sailors from Portsmouth-based ships and shore establishments in the region.

Troops marched from St John’s Catholic Cathedral to the Guildhall Square via Edinburgh Road, Stanhope Road and Commercial Road.

Sailors from the Fareham training establishment HMS Collingwood formed the parade’s guard of honour and were joined by five platoons comprising personnel from the Naval Base, Fleet Diving Squadron, HMS Edinburgh, Defence College of Policing and Guarding plus medics based at Queen Alexandra Hospital. The Army and RAF were also represented.

In the Guildhall Square Second Sea Lord Vice Admiral David Steel took the salute and inspected the sailors with Portsmouth Naval Base Commander Commodore Jeremy Rigby.

In support of North Birmingham Cats Protection,

2007 - 2021. My lovely little TJ came to us as a kitten found locked in a garage, tiny little kitten with a pink collar that was too tight, ,we put up notices , none claimed her. . so she became part of our family Such a pleasure to have had her for 14 years, a sweet happy cat full of fun, She did all the cat thinks, an out door cat. Always a pleasure to come home to, and have on my lap, I will always miss her so much, and hope to be with her again one day. Love you forever, my perfect little girl.

This photo also shows why WSDOT has to temporarily close several ramps that lead to and from State Route 7 and I-705 from I-5 to keep drivers safe. Team Support

=============

I found the image intriguing but felt the caption needed improvement.

Effective Motivation is most successful when it conceals a veiled threat.

I was looking for "Bearing the crushing weight of the world on your shoulders and I feel flat, of Atlas", combined with the fear of "Work your knuckles to the bone or face the fear of falling, you depend on us more than we need you."

The title "Hang In There!" evokes a Scholastic® poster kitten.

"Team Support" is a theme more likely to blend in among true motivational posters.

Speaking of alternative ways to look at something, at first take the happy worker is supporting the the immense team standing in vapours. The caption reinforces the concept of the team is supporting the indivual worker.

Todays solution to most IT support questions likely to be encountered.

Do not try this at home, as it should only be performed under supervision.

If this doesn't solve the problem, try re-installing your operating system.

For 7DOS group.

Avoid high contrast situations if possible. The keyboard here is almost white, and the surrounds are dark from the tree shadows, so the exposure is heavily overexposed for te keyboard, making it a very poor shot.

Even the shadow on the face contributes to the problem.

This reminds me very much of how I felt about Windows Vista, which was the reason I changed to Apple MAc.

Amsterdam Light Festival 2015

Infinite Support is a project created by the Dutch collective Lightform, which is made up by the young creatives Dorus van Lieshout, Ivar Posthumus, Daniël Thomassen and Raoul van der Ploeg. The collective, four sworn friends, focuses on finding exiting applications of new technologies. With Infinite Support they translated their ideas about friendship into a beautiful light object. ’To us friendship means supporting one another through thick and thin. As far as we’re concerned, friendship is never ending.’

What we see are two drop-shaped objects, visible from afar beause of the subtle changes of different colours of light, enticing the public to come closer. The two shapes turn out to need each other to stay upright. If we come even closer, the sculpture, that can be touched, turns out to contain mirrors, suggesting an unfathomable depth. According to Lightform, the mirrors symbolise real friendship: a bond without limits.

Monument to the Unknown Woman Worker is a 1992 sculpture by Louise Walsh, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The sculpture is located on the city's Great Victoria Street adjacent to the Europa Hotel. The Department of the Environment's original commission was to reflect the nearby Amelia Street’s history as a Red-light district. However Walsh disagreed with this, and changed the focus to women's rights issues of low-paid jobs and unpaid housework. (Wikipedia)
