Plan Japan have 'Raised their Hands to Support Quality Education for Girls.'
Globally, 1 in 3 girls around the world are denied their right to an education by the daily realities of poverty,
violence and discrimination. Not only is this unjust. It’s also a serious waste of potential with serious global
consequences.
Supporting girls’ education is one of the single best investments we can make to help end poverty. It will save
lives. It will transform futures. It will unleash the incredible potential of girls and their communities.
Over the next five years, Plan’s ‘Because I am a Girl’ campaign aims to support 4 million girls to get the
education, skills and support they need to transform their lives and the world around them.

Here is my contribution to my brothers and sisters overseas. We are
going to fight as hard as we can to restore our republic and bring you
home. Our troops are best supported when they are defending our
nation, not over in third world countries being killed in civil wars.
July 12th we march on Washington D.C. to demand the prompt return of
our troops, not just from Iraq and afghanistan but from our 700 bases
in 130 countries. It is our obligation as patriots to spread this
message. Restore the Republic and let us return to our foundation of
freedom, prosperity, and peace. I plead to the place in your heart
that knows our government has lied to and exploited us to acheive the
agenda of cruel men.
Rise now and reclaim your home land, I know we can do it together, I
believe in you America.

Nurses rally in San Francisco as part of nationwide actions in support of safe staffing, patient protections against A.I.
100,000 National Nurses United members will bargain new contracts in 2025
Thousands of registered nurse members of National Nurses United (NNU) hold actions, including marches, protests, and rallies, on Thursday, Jan. 16 to demand the hospital industry ensure safe staffing levels and patient safeguards amidst the rapid introduction of artificial intelligence technologies.
More than 100,000 NNU members are entering contract negotiations with their employers, including multibillion-dollar health care organizations such as UCHealth and Dignity Health. In negotiations, nurses plan to confront industry decisions that undermine patients’ health and well-being and fail to address chronic RN recruitment and retention issues – in favor of increasing profits.
“Today, nurses across the country are taking to the streets to let our communities know that in 2025, as in all years past, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care for every patient,” said Nancy Hagans, RN and a president of NNU. “We will fight fearlessly against the profit-driven hospital industry, which seeks to undermine nursing care through unconscionable understaffing and reckless automation.”
