Overview of Codex Alimentarius

by Rima Laibow, M.D.

At the request of the United Nations (UN) in 1962, the World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and

Agriculture Organization (FAO) took on the joint role of running and administering the Codex

Alimentarius Commission (CAC) to establish standards and remove barriers to trade for all food and

food products. Having declared that nutrients are toxins from which we must be protected, the CAC

has been busy establishing enforceable international guidelines for upper limits of nutritional

supplement dosing. Codex has goals that affect every person in the UN’s 170+ member nations,

including the United States. As a tool for furthering these goals, member nations are urged to adopt

Codex standards and guidelines as domestic policy. The United States has already committed itself to

doing so despite U. S. law which prohibits this compliance.

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has adopted Codex as a standard for the adjudication of foodrelated

international trade disputes and has the authority to enforce Codex standards through

implementation of harsh economic sanctions on non-Codexcompliant member nations. Pre-existing

international treaty laws dictate that WTO rulings will override the domestic laws already in place in

its member nations and, in fact, the WHO has successfully taken both states and the U. S. government

to court in the U. S. to force changes in our domestic laws eleven times. This means our nation’s hard

won laws that give you access to over-the-counter, natural health supplements will become

meaningless. Codex’s original mandate to remove barriers to trade and assure a clean food supply has,

under the influence of private, economically-driven multinational pharmaceutical, agricultural and

chemical corporations, self-expanded far beyond its original mandate. The result is a body of highly

dangerous and restrictive policies that threaten to become domestic law in the U. S. and, as such, are

a threat to your health and freedom.

The FDA has stated explicitly that its goal is complete "harmonization" with Codex and, in order to

bring that about, international regulations i.e., Codex will be given preference over domestic ones!

(Federal Register, 10/ 11 /95)

If Codex gets its way, as it already has in the EU, we can expect that, ultimately, only 18 or so dietary

supplements will be available over-the-counter in doses which are, by design, far too small to have any

discernible impact on any human being since codex classifies nutrients as toxins. High potency

nutrients will not be available either with or without physician’s prescription since these molecules

and compounds will be forbidden under any circumstances. The big surprise? Once in the hands of

pharmaceutical companies, consumer supplement costs are expected to more than quadruple. This

has, in fact, been the experience in Europe where this process is already underway and micro-dose

nutrient prices have increased 10 to 100 fold or more (e.g., in Norway a bottle of zinc lozenges which

previously cost $2 now costs $54; in France 12 Vitamin C tabs of just10 mg cost $117; while 10 Vitamin

E caps of only 10 IU each cost $110).

Australia and the European Union (EU) are in the process of enacting harmonized Codex policies that

restrict consumer access to nutritional supplements. America is next. Though Americans value

personal freedom, the fact Codex meets infrequently (and almost always offshore) and is bogged

down in highly technical language that is difficult to understand has resulted in many Americans

being unaware of this threat. The nearly total media blackout on Codex and its activities helps to

keep the U. S. uninformed and therefore, pliant.

While there have been rare serious adverse reactions to nutritional supplements during the past

decades, (usually when taken far in excess of the recommended dosing), numerous severe and even

fatal reactions to drugs (usually when taken at the recommended dosing) occur every day and are the

fourth leading cause of death in hospitalized clients in the United States when properly

used. When improperly used, they are, in fact, far and away the leading cause of death in

the United States. Even so, drug deaths are very likely underreported. Drugs are

inherently dangerous; nutrients are not. This fact makes it clear why the drug culture

2

needs to eliminate all access to natural health options, including nutritional supplements,

in order to expand and intensify its influence and thus its profitability. Healthy people

take fewer drugs and thus are poor customers.

The global pharmaceutical powers -that-be have already purchased a large piece of the

lucrative global nutritional supplement pie but the considerable size of this pie keeps the

hugely profitable pharmaceutical profit -share-pie from reaching its maximum size so the

competing nutrient pie must be destroyed. Though unable to patent a natural substance,

pharmaceutical corporations can hold patents on synthetic versions of vitamins and

minerals that, unfortunately for the consumer, often do not act like their natural vitamin

counterparts in the body and often act in unpredic table and harmful ways. If Codexcompliant

Europe is any guide, the permitted micro-doses of permitted nutrients will be

only synthetic ones.

In addition to regulatory and/or administrative takeover and destruction of the dietary

supplement market and consumer access, Codex also mandates irradiation of food;

mandatory use of antibiotics, hormones and growth stimulants in all animals raised for

food, is expected to legalize the unlabeled inclusion of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) (whose

safety has never been established while their serious dangers have) into our seed and food supplies and

will increase the allowable maximum tolerated levels of pesticides, herbicides, veterinary drugs and

other dangerous industrial toxins in food, likely driving up degenerative illnesses, including cancer,

diabetes, cardiovascular disease, macular degeneration, MS, etc. All of these policies are made under

the guise of free and equal access to trade for all nations and protection of the public.

Some people have “Codex Anesthesia,” a state of overwhelming, numb confusion that occurs just

before people lose their health freedom. Many otherwise well-informed people from the manufacturing

and retailing sectors of natural healthcare believe that the Dietary Supplement Health and Education

Act (DSHEA), passed in 1994 to protect Americans’ access to natural healthcare substances, will still be

in place to protect them. This is not the case: Fundamental health freedoms afforded the American

public by DSHEA, which classifies supplements as food which, as such, can have no upper limit set on

their use, are now under well orchestrated legislative and/or administrative attack. Health nuts and

junk food devotees alike are not immune from this legislative attack on health freedom.

The A-6 Intruder was designed to serve two roles: one, to replace the aging A-1 Skyraider and supplement the A-4 Skyhawk in the carrier-based strike role, and two, to give the US Navy a genuine all-weather strike aircraft. The requirement was issued in 1957, and Grumman’s A2F-1 design selected, with the first flight in 1960. In 1962, just before fleet entry in 1963, the Intruder was redesignated A-6A.

The A-6 was designed to hit targets with pinpoint accuracy in adverse weather, day or night, similar to what the USAF would later require for the F-111 Aardvark. For this reason, it was built around the Digital Integrated Attack/Navigation Equipment (DIANE), which used three radar systems to constantly update the INS and provide attack data to the bombardier/navigator sitting in the right seat. The system proved very complicated and it would be some years before it was perfected. Since the weather and night would be the Intruder’s primary defense, no internal armament equipped the aircraft, though it could carry an impressive 18,000 pound warload.

The Intruder was committed early to the Vietnam War, which showed up the flaws in the DIANE system and a more lethal one in the bomb delivery system, which had a tendency to set off the bombs prematurely, destroying the aircraft. Gradually improvements were made, and despite the loss of 84 Intruders over Vietnam, it proved to be extremely effective: until the bugs were ironed out of the F-111A in 1971, the A-6 remained the only American aircraft that could attack during the monsoon season.

Specialized A-6Bs were also produced specifically for Iron Hand defense suppression missions, and A-6Cs for anti-truck operations on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. All three variants were replaced by the A-6E beginning in 1971: this replaced DIANE with a more advanced solid-state computer and the three radars with a single AN/APQ-148 multimode radar. In 1979, the A-6E was further modified with the installation of Target Recognition Attack Multisensor (TRAM), consisting of a turret in the nose containing FLIR linked to the radar and a new bomb computer. Besides making the already accurate A-6 even more deadly, it also allowed the Intruder to drop laser-guided bombs, hit moving targets with bombs, and also use passive radar to attack a target.

A-6s would find themselves once more heavily employed during the First Gulf War, flying 4700 sorties for the loss of four aircraft; its final roles would find it supporting Marines in Somalia in 1991 and UN forces in Bosnia in 1995. By that time, surviving A-6Es had been partially upgraded to allow them to fire all newer guided weapons in the inventory (namely the AGM-84 Harpoon, AGM-65 Maverick, and AGM-88 HARM), while most of the fleet also received composite wings.

Grumman further proposed an updated version designated A-6F, with new avionics and engines, but the US Navy rejected this in favor of replacing the Intruder with first the cancelled stealthy A-12A Avenger II, then the F/A-18C/D Hornet. The last A-6E left US Navy service by Feburary 1997; the US Marine Corps had retired theirs in 1993. Older, non-modified aircraft were sunk as an artificial reef off Florida; others remain at AMARC for scrapping.

This Intruder is Bureau Number 154162, built as an A-6A and entering service with VMA(AW)-533 ("Hawks") at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. 154162 would just miss service in Vietnam, as VMA(AW)-533 was sent back to Southeast Asia in 1972, but by that time it was serving with VA-176 ("Thunderbolts") aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CV-42) in the Atlantic. It was upgraded to an A-6E in 1974 and would spend the next decade as a test aircraft, first with the Naval Air Weapons Center at NAS China Lake, California and then with the Pacific Missile Test Range at NAS Point Mugu. 154162 would see its only combat while assigned to VA-145 ("Swordsmen") aboard the USS Ranger (CV-61), supporting the US effort in Somalia, though no airstrikes were flown. Badly damaged in a landing accident at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma in 1995, it was repaired to static condition and eventually donated to the Palm Springs Air Museum.

Today, 154162 is preserved in the colors of VA-36 ("Roadrunners"), during its time aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), though it does not appear 154162 ever flew with that squadron. It still looks good, though, and like the Hornet next to it, is displayed on a simulated carrier deck.

Tips to Gain Muscle Faster with a Testosterone Booster

Testosterone boosters have been around for years in some form or another. Many body builders and athletes use them to gain muscle faster and to increase strength for their game or weight training. The use of testosterone boosters is often controversial in the sports and bodybuilding arenas, many professionals and serious weight trainers use some sort of product or supplement to boost their testosterone levels.

What is a Testosterone Booster?

A testosterone booster is a substance in the form of pills, liquid, shots, or creams that boosts a male's testosterone level. These cells secrete very high volumes of testosterone during puberty, which gives boys and young men leaner muscle mass.

A testosterone booster helps increase a man's testosterone level, giving him more stamina and lean rock hard muscles. There are some companies that offer testosterone boosters in the form of illegal steroids, but these are unhealthy and unsafe.

Natural Testosterone Boosters

There are natural testosterone boosters that do not contain steroids, but can still help you build muscles fast and give increased endurance during workouts or sports. These are available in the form of supplement capsules and may contain ingredients such as Mucuna Pruriens, Tribulus Terrestris, Tongkat Ali, ZMA, Rhodiola Rosea, Imperial Gold Maca (TM), and other herbal ingredients to help enhance stamina.

Even with natural testosterone boosters, you should check with your doctor to be sure it's safe for you. If you already have certain health problems, it could be a health risk. It's also a good idea to be monitored by a doctor while taking a testosterone booster to be sure the supplement doesn't affect your body in a negative way.

Not a Substitute for Workouts

Testosterone boosters are not meant to substitute for real workouts and proper weight training. Your endurance for workouts will be long lasting so you can build those lean rock hard muscles you've always wanted.

With testosterone boosters, many men notice a difference in muscle size, strength, libido, and even thinking ability. Do research online to find a trustworthy supplier of testosterone boosters. You can easily read about the different types of muscle-building supplements available and their ingredients to make the right choice.

Be sure to follow the directions carefully and never take more than the recommended dosage once you order a testosterone booster. Schedule weight training sessions at a time when you have the most strength and energy to enjoy maximum benefits.

Herbal Supplements To Detox Kidneys

Would you like to develop muscles? There are numerous actions you can take so that you can maximize muscle tissue without wasting time. In order to gain strength and add muscle, the piece that follows is good for you. Stop wasting time at the health club and follow these useful tips.

Range from the "big three" exercises inside your exercise program. Those are bench presses, dead lifts and squats. Correctly completing these exercises frequently will add muscle tissue, help to make you stronger, and usually condition your system. Make these exercises part of your weekly routine.

Keep the protein intake high to boost muscle tissue. Protein will be the basic element for building muscles. As soon as your body lacks the protein it must have to effectively build muscle, you will get significantly less success in getting the muscle tissue and physique you seek. Be sure that several of your own larger meals, and also a number of your everyday snacks, contain protein.

Don't make an effort to build muscles when you find yourself getting yourself ready for a marathon or tackling other extreme cardio workouts. Doing cardio is perfect for overall fitness, though should you do a lot of, your system will be unable to build plenty of muscles mass with resistance training concurrently. Should you be wanting to increase muscle tissue, nearly all your time and energy needs to be invested in strength-training exercises, not cardio.

Eating ample levels of protein is vital to muscle development. Protein shakes are a fun way to get in your everyday protein. The most effective times to take these supplements is soon after training and before bed. Take one on a daily basis should you desire weight-loss and muscle strengthening. Should your goal is bulk, then consider drinking a protein shake with every meal.

Keeping your system hydrated is a crucial part of an excellent muscle-building program. Should you be not drinking enough water, then you could injure your muscle mass. Furthermore, hydration is important to the whole process of building and keeping muscle tissue, and thus plays multiple roles.

That can be done a great deal to boost your strength training exercises. These pointers can certainly help you out in bulking up. Should you be sick and tired of not seeing is a result of your time and energy, you will want to adopt action applying this guide immediately. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B-BqbxYMSE

Vitamin supplement in capsules over a prescription

As the combatant nations of World War II began crash programs to develop jet fighters, the USAAF issued a requirement for a high-altitude escort fighter in 1944 to supplement the P-80 Shooting Star. North American, which was already working on a similar aircraft for the US Navy, the FJ-1 Fury, submitted a stripped-down Fury (deleting everything necessary for carrier operations and using lighter aluminum) as the XP-86. While North American initially though the XP-86 would be able to reach nearly 600 mph—almost the speed of sound—the straight wing limited performance, and indeed the XP-86 was no faster or manueverable than the P-80 or Republic’s offer to the USAAF, the XP-84 Thunderjet.

With the project under threat of cancellation, North American looked for a solution and found one: the prewar German research into swept wings. By sweeping the wings back, this lessened drag and increased performance. Using the Messerschmitt 262 as a basis, the XP-86 was modified with a 35-degree wing sweep, leading edge slats, and a movable tailplane. When it first flew on 1 October 1947, it nearly reached the speed of sound. The newly-independent USAF quickly put the XP-86—now designated F-86A Sabre—into production as its primary day fighter, entering service in 1949. Pilots favorably compared the F-86 to an earlier North American product, the P-51 Mustang: like the Mustang, the Sabre was long-ranged, very manueverable, easy to fly, and had superb visibility from its bubble canopy.

The USAF would not have long to wait to see the Sabre’s prowess in combat. As the Korean War entered its sixth month with UN forces closing on the Chinese border at the Yalu River, UN air units began coming under attack from Chinese, North Korean, and—secretly—Soviet MiG-15s. The USAF’s propeller-driven F-51s and F-82s, and the straight wing F-80s and F-84s were outclassed by the swept wing MiG, so the F-86 was rushed to Korea and entered combat in December 1950. While the MiG-15 was more manueverable and could outclimb the F-86A, the Sabre was superior in the dive and at altitudes below 25,000 feet. North American quickly began production on new Sabre models designed to take on the MiG-15, namely the F-86E, with an “all-moving” tailplane and boosted controls, and the F-86F, which had a larger wing and improved slats for better low-speed manueverability.

While still unable to climb with the MiG-15, the F-86E/F allowed the Sabre pilots to better dogfight them, though the F-86’s armament of six .50 caliber machine guns was found to be inadequate against the cannon-armed MiG-15. Nonetheless, the higher skill of American F-86 pilots, improved Sabre variants, and a radar-ranging gunsight allowed Sabres to contest air superiority over “MiG Alley,” the valley of the Yalu River. USAF sources state a kill ratio of 12 to 1 over the MiG, while more recent research lowers that ratio as low as 2 to 1, at least against Soviet MiG pilots. (Russian pilots claimed to have shot down 600 F-86s over Korea, which is a very questionable figure, as the USAF never had more than 200 Sabres in Korea at any one time, and at one point in early 1951 only had 44 total.) Whatever the actual figures, 41 Americans became aces in the F-86; this was helped by the fact that nearly half the F-86 pilots in Korea had seen service in World War II, including Glenn Eagleston, Vermont Garrison, and Francis Gabreski.

Korea was not the last combat outing for the F-86. Sabres would see continual service well into the 1970s, seeing combat with the air forces of Pakistan, Portugal, and Taiwan. The latter introduced Sidewinder-armed F-86s, which caught Chinese MiG-15s by surprise in 1958; Pakistani F-86s were superior or equal to anything in India’s inventory in the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War until the introduction of the Folland Gnat. One Pakistani pilot, Muhammad Alam, scored 11 kills in the Sabre, five of them in thirty seconds. The F-86’s flying qualities made it extremely popular, and the aircraft was exported to no less than 25 nations, both in the F-86 day fighter version and the F-86D Sabre Dog radar-equipped and rocket-armed interceptor. The USAF did not retire the F-86 until 1970, while Bolivia kept its F-86Fs in service until 1994.

51-3067 has had a rough time of it. Built as one of the last batch of F-86Es, it was delivered to the USAF in 1952, and instead of going to Korea, it was instead sent to 3595th Pilot Training Group at Nellis AFB, Nevada; the F-86Fs were now slated for Korean service, and the E-models would serve as lead-in fighter trainers. Unfortunately, it was wrecked in a landing accident at Nellis, and used for spare parts. Enough remained to be donated to the town of Banning, California as a veterans' memorial in 1965.

51-3067 seemed destined to rust away until a warbird collector spotted the aircraft, bought it, and restored it to flying again in 1994...only to suffer another landing accident in 1996. 51-3067 was once more restored to flying status, and picked up by Planes of Fame. In 2017, it was apparently sold to the Flying Heritage Museum in Everett, Washington, but after the death of Paul Allen and the closure of the FHC, it looks as if 51-3067 will be remaining at Planes of Fame for the foreseeable future.

When it was first restored to flying status, it was repainted in the checkerboards of the 51st Fighter-Interceptor Wing at Suwon, South Korea during the Korean War, initially with the nickname "Stu's Ride," for its owner. After Planes of Fame obtained the aircraft, it was repainted as Captain Joseph McConnell's "Beauteous Butch II"; McConnell was the top USAF ace of the Korean War with 16 victories, and was also assigned to the 51st FIW. (51-3067 retains its correct FU-067 buzz number; the real "Butch's" buzz number was FU-910.) McConnell's 16 victories are represented by MiG silhouettes, and naturally, as a Korean War-era F-86, it carries large yellow recognition stripes.

There's still some work to be done on the aircraft, markings wise, and I'm not sure if it's flyable. Since Dad built a model of "Beauteous Butch," it was good to see it reproduced on a real aircraft--and this picture turned out all right, despite being photobombed by the Gnat in the foreground. (Maybe that's appropriate, since the Gnat was known as the "Sabre Slayer" during the Indo-Pakistani Wars...)

Heath insurance may often feel confusing. When there are many options so much to understand, an individual may have the strain of attempting to decipher all this. It's important to understand that what's relevant today is probably not relevant tomorrow. You must accept it upon you to ultimately remain educated and understand all the information about current options. The medical insurance tips outlined here can assist you begin.

When you're checking out the medical plans your employer offers, consider both your family's health insurance and your own personal. When your health is useful, you might want to purchase insurance that features a lower premium. While it will save you a few bucks now, it is actually a huge risk as a problem could develop, after which you will need to pay considerably more.

While you are contemplating purchasing health care insurance for your self, sit back and think of every one of the costs that happen to be linked to it. The various parts into a policy like co-pays, premiums and deductibles might be confusing, so be sure that you comprehend it all before buying anything.

When you just graduated from college and are seeking health care insurance, look at the following two options. When you got a task straight out of college, examine the health care insurance they have. When you are not really 26, you may stay on your parents' health care insurance, though you really should explore obtaining your own coverage.

It's crucial that you have vision insurance if you have already eye problems, or maybe if vision issues are hereditary with your family. Coverage could incorporate your physical exams and also servings of the charge for spectacles and contacts. Naturally, nobody needs to obtain vision insurance, and you will save a number of bucks on a monthly basis by not needing it.
