If I could have any superpower it would probably be the ability to fly.

This post is to get an idea of who is currently active in the group.

I tagged members I know to have posted recently. A few members I was not able to tag. If anyone wishes to be removed from the photo ask me and I will remove the tag. If you want added or know someone that should be added, let me know. Also if for some reason you don't like to be tagged, let me know for future reference.

We thought a photo post would be easier than adding a topic in the discussions section. Andhe has made an 'Active Characters Thread" which can be found here:

www.flickr.com/groups/llh/discuss/72157684748074444/

This will also help for collaborating and to get an idea who wants tagged in future posts. We know a lot of you have other projects, but if you have been active or plan to be more active in the group, comment below. As always no matter how new you are to the group, feel free to chime in.

I'm sure I'm leaving out some info, but the main goal is just to get an idea of who's active.

I'll edit this post as needed.

“Titan”

10 Hours Earlier.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to, uhh, I’m sorry,” Chandler explained.

Everyone in the school cafeteria looked upon Chandler. The former school bully. He murdered three teens after gaining superpowers.

“Sh#@.”

Chandler sprinted out, destroying the cafeteria wall and out into the city. It was only a couple hours before the News found out and reported the ones killed in the accident. Everyone knew it was Chandler who killed the three students as well.

“Good Evening, I’m Tom Williams and tonight’s story is about a new super villain emerging from a local high school? Going down to our reporter, Jon Wilderman,”

“Thank you Tom, apparently a student, Chandler Timberland, has unleashed his superpowers and killed three other students, they have not been identified yet, but we have interviewed several students about the incident. Several claiming that Chandler was actually the school bully and he is still on the run right now. Back to you, Tom.”

“Thanks Jon, if anyone has seen this boy, call the authorities and seek cover immediately.”

Current Time:

Nightshift gazed at the TV, sitting at a bar on his third beer.

“Nightshift? Frank Willis? Can I get an autograph,” A man asked, holding a picture and pen. “My son really needs it right now. He’s uh… never mind, can I have an autograph?”

Nightshift turned his attention from the TV to the man. The man was clearly in a even more worse state than Frank.

“Please. You’re my son’s favorite superhero.”

“Sure… whatever, get something good for your uh… son.”

After a couple more beers, Nightshift was escorted out of the bar, barely remembering what he had to do, find Chandler Timberland. Gunshots and Muzzle Flashes could be seen in the dark, Nightshift’s instincts caused him to sprint toward, stumbling slightly due to being drunk.

Crash!

Nightshift dived through a window crashing through to find Chandler on the floor scattered with bullet wounds and several dead low-lives. The criminals turned their attention to Nightshift, firing their weapons. Once the guns ran out of bullets, Nightshift made his move, attempting a roundhouse kick, unfortunately, his drunkenness caused him to be way off balance and he was easily taken down, getting kicked and clubbed.

Frank’s vision soon went blurry, fading out, and finally knocking out unconscious.

Round 7

Volcano Girl formula: Dark red ponytail, Chima Frax torso & hips, orange arms & legs, red hands, BrickForge Utility Belt & Vambraces, Trans-orange round tile with gold flames, Ninjago Skylor head.

Volcano Girl inspiration: Firestar was my big influence here. Redheads and fire based powers are a no-brainer. I had the torso laying around and thought it would look cool. The Skylor head is what got me started. I loved the OC possibilities in yellow minifig skin. Her name is from a song of the same name by a band called Veruca Salt.

Kid Komet formula: Ninjago Zane head, Electro torso and legs assembly, BrickForge Hero Hair, Upper Arms, Lower Arms, & Hands.

Kid Komet inspiration: I took Iceman and Quicksilver and mixed their powers. I like both characters and liked that no one had combined Ice Control with Super Speed, so why not me? Originally he was a character named Glacier who only had Ice Control powers. Here's a view of him here: www.flickr.com/photos/51975999@N05/9778567656/in/album-72... I think I ended up with a better hero and used the head and hair to make 2 awesome villains. The name came with a bit of research. Comets are fast. Most people visualize them as hot fireballs, but in actuality are bluish white balls of ice. He is another one that is high on my favorite list of OC's I've made.

Tremor formula: Nexo Knight Moltor Torso, legs, head & shoulder armor. Power Miners Combustix arms.

Tremor inspiration: Continuing with the elemental powers, I made this guy represent rock and lava like powers. I had the original here: www.flickr.com/photos/51975999@N05/9823076786/in/album-72... but wasn't thrilled with his look. I thought about possibly using a red/orange/yellow metallic paper under some black molded clay for his torso, but knew the difficulty would not be worth the effort. I was extremely happy when I saw the Moltor minifig and went on a grand search on BL for one that fit my feeble budget. I have no shame in using the exact minifig with only the arms swapped out. The name came way before the Ultra Agents character. He was going to be one of my big figs, but I lack the painting skills needed to pull it off. Plus I didn't want to ruin the cool knockoff Thing big fig I bought on e-bay.

Round 2

Lazer Hawk formula: BrickForge Hero hair and vambrace, CMF Aztec Warrior head, custom decal by me.

Lazer Hawk inspiration: I'm not a huge fan of Green Lantern, but the color combo worked and the trans-green vambrace helped me decide to use a similar power. I think of him more like a cross between Bruce Wayne and Reed Richards when it comes to personality. The name was inspired by 2 different American Gladiator members and I liked the head because it was one of the first heads that I could use as an OC with the painted look.

Liberty formula: Wonder Woman hair, CMF Lady Liberty head, BrickForge vambraces, Arealight curved torso, Cape Madness toga.

Liberty inspiration" The look is obvious, but the characters that inspired her were a mix of Wonder Woman and She-Hulk. I decided to give her a french accent to go along with the history of the Statue of Liberty. I originally planned to make her wheel chair bound, but scrapped the idea. I sometimes switch between her being a powerhouse, to being overly empathetic.

Mr. Cy-co formula: BrickForge hair, Agents Saw Fist head and arm, modified clip mechanical claw, Harry Osborn torso assembly.

Mr. Cy-co inspiration: This guy went through a huge change. My original was a low level thug named Cy-cho and was really just hired muscle in the form of a cyborg. I had the hair and suit planned for a different villain that you now see here. I thought it'd be cool to have him be more of a business man that could be his own muscle. I took inspiration from various cliche evil businessmen type villains. A little bit of inspiration came from Overtkill from Image comics. His backstory isn't very tragic when you find out that he wasn't a good guy to begin with. Here's the old look for him: www.flickr.com/photos/51975999@N05/9713213644/in/album-72...

From left to right: Ms. Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and then Ms. Marvel.

I like the fact that the only one smiling is Ms. Mar...er, Kamala Khan. That's totally appropriate. She's a teenage girl who gets superpowers and, being a Carol Danvers fangirl, decides to take the name that her hero abandoned when she started calling herself "Captain Marvel." Carol Danvers is burdened by her need to live up to the responsibilities of an A-list powerhouse in any crisis...and, the last time I read her book, by her desire to be seen and respected as an A-list hero. Kamala has responsibilities and problems of her own, but she would just squee to pieces if she got to meet Captain Marvel in person.

I think this was largely a fortuitous clumping together of Ms. Marvels? I'm not certain. I got the impression that they'd just sort of found each other shortly before they passed near my little photo studio. With any other character, this would be a silly assumption to make. But the "Carol Corps" is a strong and proud band of cosplayers. It seems credible that a trio would bump into each other and then want to hang out for a bit.

(On the other hand...wow, three super-great costumes! Particularly the Kamala Khan, which is the nicest version of that costume I've seen. So maybe they were together. Well, whatever. They were quite a nice sight!)

This week, Marvel announced a whole bunch of new movies stretching out until nearly the end of this decade. "Captain Marvel" is one of the later ones and oh, boy, was it fun to see the Carol Corps' happy reaction to the news on Twitter and Tumblr.

Photo notes: I told them what kind of photo I'd like to take, they posed nicely...and PHHHT! Screen blinked out...dead camera battery. Damn damn damn damn!

I don't like to waste cosplayers' time and patience. I took a photo with my backup camera (iPhone 6 Plus) and cursed the bad timing.

But good news! As often happened at my photo studio -- a quiet spot away from traffic where the picture-taking wouldn't interfere with the flow of the con -- other people lined up to get their own photos. It took me all of ten seconds to get a fresh battery from a side pocket of my tactical pants and get my camera working again to take this photo.

In fact, I got a second photo but I screwed it up. I saw the three of them in profile and thought "Yup, that's even better."

I need to sit down and figure out a quick, clear sentence which communicates "Face THAT way, but look THIS way." As often as not, I wind up with profiles and three-quarter-shots of people who aren't making any eye contact with the lens. It's a good photo but...slightly off.

All my fault, of course. I didn't want to delay these ladies even longer, so I thanked them for the shot. They were all very sweet and gracious.

Welsh Highland Railway Superpower Gala

This is an old pic of me a Selfie taken by me in my studio room in Vienna, I am sweaty, well actually I use to say that if I would have a superpower that would be perspiration, this is very true but probably not the cause and case...

...since I know what is probably the case, at that time in life I was so stressed just general so I usually had a chaotic dance before starting to paint, often with my cam as in this pic then I would do one painting really fast where I messed up all on purpose, then I would usually feel better and could start painting for real and if that didn´t work, I would sadly turn to beer and whiskey...

I was far to tense those days, an I bet you that the alcohol didn´t help me in the long run...

...a scary things was that I started all these strange rituals and stuff to release stress but in the long run I think I only cause more stress by going close to Obsessive–compulsive state of mind and with some alcohol on top of that I was kind of spiraling slowly downwards...

I was working under the device: You have no change, Get it (I don´t know if it works in English) it is a phrase I stole from an Austrian pub I used to frequent :)

Peace and Peace (and some noise)!

The Apollo–Soyuz Test Project (ASTP), conducted in July 1975, was the first joint US–Soviet space flight, as a symbol of the policy of détente that the two superpowers were pursuing at the time. It involved the docking of an Apollo Command/Service Module with the Soviet Soyuz 19. The unnumbered Apollo vehicle was a surplus from the terminated Apollo programme and the last one to fly. This mission ceremoniously marked the end of the Space Race that had begun in 1957 with the Sputnik launch.

The mission included both joint and separate scientific experiments (including an engineered eclipse of the Sun by Apollo to allow Soyuz to take photographs of the solar corona), and provided useful engineering experience for future joint US–Russian space flights, such as the Shuttle–Mir programme and the International Space Station.

ASTP was the last manned US space mission until the first Space Shuttle flight in April 1981. It was also US astronaut Donald 'Deke' Slayton's only space flight. He was one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts selected in April 1959, but had been grounded until 1972 for medical reasons.

Above you can see the the restored Apollo Command and Service Module used for testing prior to the mission. Connected to it on the right is the back-up Docking Module. Connected to the other end of the Docking Module off-camera to the right is a model of the Soyuz. This scene is in the Space Race gallery of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum on the Mall in Washington DC.

Round 10

Barrage formula: Ultra Agents Tremor armor, CMF Alien Avenger torso & legs assembly, Flat Silver arms, CMF Galaxy Patrol head.

Barrage inspirations: I wanted a walking tanks of a villain, so I put this guy together. The armor was the starting point and the combos really went well together. I guess the main inspirations for him would be Juggernaut, with a tiny bit of Deadshot.

Umbraxus formula: CMF Ursula lower body part, Black torso assembly, Ninjago Overlord head, Modified BrickForge Ponytail and Maverick Hair.

Umbraxus inspiration: I liked the idea of Sable's shadow having a mind of it's own and from their I used aspects of Venom to make it come to life. He is probably one of my more sinister characters as his main motivation for his involvement is anything but wholesome. The name comes from Umbra which is the darkest part of a shadow and then I added the ending part so that is sounder menacing.

Sable formula: BrickForge Ammo Pouches and modified Ponytail and Maverick Hair, Torso decal by The Decal Creator (modified by me), CMF Jewel Thief head.

Sable inspiration: My biggest inspiration for her is obviously Black Cat. I may have pushed the PG limit on her, but I have no regrets. I'll eventually find legs with print on them. Her alter ego name is very close to sounding like "Silhouette".

History:

Mitsuko Sukezane was a coma patient who was abducted by Dr. Krayniac. Her initial injuries were the result of Baron Ogel’s first assault on New Blok City. She was missing and presumed dead when Dr. Krayniac had retrieved her from the rubble. His intentions were to use an experimental process which would transfer Mitsuko’s mind into a machine. Being already in a coma, she was a perfect candidate for testing. He planned to use this method so that he could transfer his own mind into the cyber world, thus prolonging his life. Kid Komet discovered the testing site by accident while pursuing Mr. Blight after an encounter. He called for backup when Dr. Krayniac’s defense systems attacked. The ensuing battle which included Lazer Hawk and Patriot X caused an energy surge which destroyed the machine that Mitsuko was connected to. The girl remained in a coma but an amazing event took place. Her mind was able to project itself into a digital/energy form that resembled a hologram. In this from she can increase the density of her body to become solid or reduce the density to become transparent. While in a low density Mitsuko is invulnerable to physical and kinetic attacks as well as aging effects, disease, gases, light, and poisons; and can float and phase through walls. This reduces her strength but increases her agility. With a high density, Mitsuko becomes a solid body that gives her improved strength while reducing her agility. Her abilities also allow her to connect with computers and transfer her being into the cyber world, making the experiment somewhat of a success. The team took the comatose body of Mitsuko back to their base in attempts to help her. Lazer Hawk dubbed her “Shimmer”, making her a new member of the team and the name stuck. Since then, Mitsuko has woken from her coma but remains weak and confined to a wheelchair with no memory of her past other than her name. The progress to heal her body has been slow. In the meantime, she has been learning to develop and control her powers. The process has been trying at times even though she enjoys the physical freedom of her digital body. Shimmer is a powerful ally and if focused can be nearly unstoppable. Her mental state however has encountered some setbacks. Her struggle to come to terms with her life’s changes has made it difficult for her to adjust. She at times feels disconnected to humanity and seems robotic. She has even doubted her own existence of whether she is a human or a robot with advanced AI. Regardless of her feelings about herself, she is a willing member of the team in its quest to protect New Blok City.

Character Creation

Cassandra "Cassie" Sandsmark, also known as Wonder Girl, is a superheroine appearing in DC Comics. She was created by John Byrne and first appeared in Wonder Woman (vol. 2) #105 (January 1996). The second Wonder Girl, Cassie is a sidekick of the superheroine Wonder Woman and has been featured as a member of the Teen Titans.

When Cassie was introduced, she was the daughter of an archaeologist, Dr. Helena Sandsmark, a friend of Wonder Woman's. To help Wonder Woman during an adventure, she borrowed magical artifacts which bestowed upon Cassie superpowers, with which she fought crime as Wonder Girl.

Later, Zeus, king of the Greek gods, grants her real powers. Later revelations showed that Cassie was in fact a demigoddess and the daughter of Zeus and Dr. Sandsmark.

In 2011, when DC relaunched Wonder Woman and revealed she was Zeus's daughter, the publisher retroactively changed Cassie's backstory to establish she was actually Zeus's granddaughter, making her Wonder Woman's niece.

Publication history

Cassie Sandsmark was created as a supporting character for Wonder Woman by writer/artist John Byrne in 1996, making her debut in Wonder Woman #105. Byrne's initial depiction of Cassie was that of a tow-headed tomboyish girl who could almost be mistaken for a boy. It was not until much later, when Cassie had grown and come to terms with being a super-powered daughter of Zeus, that other artists began to depict her as an attractive young woman (her concerns over her appearance were a recurring early theme). Unlike Donna Troy whose publication history is mostly in the pages of the Teen Titans, Cassie has undergone a great deal of character development in the pages of Wonder Woman.

Cassandra Sandsmark initially appears as a supporting cast member in Wonder Woman. She later appears as part of an ensemble in Young Justice and Teen Titans.

She appeared in supporting roles in 52, Supergirl, and the 2006 relaunch of the Wonder Woman series.

In September 2007, she appeared in the six-issue limited series Wonder Girl: Champion written by J. Torres and illustrated by Sanford Greene and Nathan Massengill.

Fictional Character History

Cassandra is the third character at DC Comics to bear the distinction of Wonder Girl and is the present holder of this title. Before her came the golden age stories of Wonder Woman as a teenager and the more famous stories of Donna Troy throughout most of the silver and modern age of comics. Cassandra’s first appearance was before she had received her powers.

After the battle alongside Artemis against the White Magician, Diana decided to leave Boston for Gateway City and while there she decided to work at a museum. Her boss was a woman by the name of Helena Sandsmark and Cassandra was her daughter. Cassandra aided Diana in some of her early adventures, but her first real action as a superhero was when she donned the gauntlets of Atlas and winged sandals of Hermes.

Soon after she was granted a boon by Zeus who granted her superpowers (though these could be switched on and off by her mother.) It would later be revealed that her father was, in fact, Zeus, the result of a relationship her mother had had while on an archaeological expedition (though as with most of Zeus dalliances, it is implied that he was disguised.) Soon after her appearance with powers, it was determined that Cassie is indoctrinated in the ways of the Amazons and her training began under Artemis.

Cassandra grew up with her mother, her father having left when she was four years old, going around from archeological dig to the next, never settling down. While her mother was unearthing ancient treasures, Cass was robbing them from the museums. While in China, she was cornered by a guard who was knocked out by Diesel.

It was 'lust at first sight,' and the pair grew close as Diesel followed Cass on her mother's ventures while seducing her to take part in a more criminal lifestyle. While in Cambodia on a dig, Cass returned at night, knowing that Diesel would try to loot it, and she searched for him, finding a secret corridor he had opened. She found Diesel, the Silent Armor secured to his face and she donned the war gauntlets in an attempt to pry it off of him.

She spoke with the armor, convincing it that she was the better candidate, and it possessed her, nearly overwhelming her. Diesel attacked her, enraged that she had stolen his 'treasure,' but the chamber collapsed and Cass used the armor to escape. She apparently split from her mother afterward as she was alone when Red Robin encountered her. It has recently been revealed and confirmed that Wonder Woman is Cassie's Aunt and the demigoddess, Cassandra is her other Aunt.

Character Evolution

During an unexpected visit to Mount Olympus Cassie was able to convince Zeus into granting her superpowers, which he did but with the caveat that Helena could disable whenever she chose to do so. After Donna Troy's history was redefined she felt it was time to move on from her Wonder Girl persona, a role which she passed on to Cassie, including her original uniform.

As Cassie grew and accepted a heroic lifestyle, it was decided she should be trained as an Amazon, a role which a revived Artemis took upon herself. One of the most defining aspects of her character is her friendship and later relationship with Conner Kent (Superboy). She also has a fairly close friendship with Tim Drake.

Personality

Cassie has displayed a remarkable amount of growth in her relatively short career, which is comparable to her older namesake Wonder Woman. Cassie has become one of the most highly recognized and trusted young heroes.

Two of the reasons for which she took on the role of Wonder Girl have continued to define her as a character: her youthful adventurousness and her sense of duty to her allies and friends. Her inexperience was a common point of crisis and conflict during her early years but she has maintained her indomitable spirit throughout her career.

Cassie's tenure as a member of Young Justice was littered with change, in both her civilian and superhero identities. She found herself with a powerful crush on Superboy, leading to new moments of indecision and dramatic fluctuations in confidence. However, it was out of these low points that Cassie truly found herself. Cassie ditched her childish original costume in favor of a more adult outfit, a sign of her burgeoning confidence in herself and her abilities.

It was during this period that Cassie's leadership potential emerged, as she took the reigns of the team from Robin and led a massive strike force of young and inexperienced heroes into the team's most epic battle.

Her confidence was again shaken with the apparent death of Donna Troy, leading to a reduced (and sometimes reluctant) role in the new Teen Titans. She still displayed the strength that had made her such a strong member of Young Justice, however, going as far as to take the lead in her relationship with Superboy and help Raven adjust to her life as a teenager.

Cassie continued as a stable, dedicated heroine until the death of Superboy and the loss of her powers. She has distanced herself from her mother and her teammates, letting her grief and the influence of Ares make her bitter and more violent. She has shown glimpses of the "old" Cassie during recent events, however, leading one to believe that her personality will right itself as she deals with her loss.

Young Justice

While assisting the Amazons whenever the opportunity arose, Cassie found herself wandering deeper into the world of superheroes. After being assaulted by the villain Harm, Cassie found herself recruited by Robin, Superboy, and Bart Allen, a group of teenage heroes known as Young Justice. Along with Arrowette, Secret, and Empress, Wonder Girl represented the second wave of Young Justice members, creating an honest team out of what was originally three sidekicks goofing off and fighting crime as an afterthought.

During her tenure with Young Justice, Wonder Girl grew into a full-fledged superhero. She took over leadership of the team when Robin stepped down from the post, all while cultivating a crush on Superboy and close friendship with Secret and Arrowette. It was during this period that Cassie's secret identity was revealed to the public when she was forced to defend her high school against an attack by Wonder Woman's nemesis the Silver Swan who thought that she should be Wonder Girl.

Just as Wonder Girl began settling into her leadership role, the Teen Titans and Young Justice were offered sponsorship by a mysterious corporation called Optitron. While mulling over the pitch, both teams were assaulted by Indigo, a misunderstood android who unwittingly activated a homicidal Superman robot. Donna Troy was thought to be killed in the ensuing battle, an incident that left the heroes shattered. Depressed and guilt-ridden over the death of her friend and idol, Cassie contemplated retiring from super heroics.

Joining the Teen Titans

Instead, she found herself persuaded to join a new incarnation of the Teen Titans, reformed from the impact of Donna's apparent death by Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire. Wonder Girl fought alongside former Young Justice teammates Superboy, Robin, and Impulse (now going by Kid Flash), as well a de-aged Raven and new recruit Speedy.

The new team came up against a litany of threats from the original incarnations past, fending off assaults by Deathstroke, Brother Blood, The Fearsome Five and Dr. Light. She also found herself constantly confronted by the Olympian Ares, who gave her the lasso she currently uses.

While a member of the Titans, Cassie surmised the true identity of her father during the story arc "The Bronze Doors." After assisting Wonder Woman in defeating Hades and restoring order to the Olympian Pantheon, Cassie was granted one wish which she used to force the revelation of her true parentage -- Zeus himself. Zeus and Helena Sandsmark had a dalliance while Zeus was disguised as a human, resulting in the now half-Olympian Cassie.

Cassie also finally began dating Conner Kent, the then current Superboy. They enjoyed a comparatively normal courtship until Lex Luthor activated long-latent mind control of Conner, resulting in Superboy brutally attacking the combined forces of the Teen Titans and the Outsiders.

It was Cassie who eventually returned Superboy to sanity, but the incident resulted in his leaving the Titans and therefore his relationship with Cassie. It is also Connor who influences Cassie to change her costume to something similar to his (even though she is often later seen wearing Amazon battle armor.)

Wonder Girl continued to fight alongside the Titans, including venturing to the planet of New Cronus to save the life of Donna Troy, until the Infinite Crisis hit. When the Olympian gods left Earth following an attack by Maxwell Lord's OMACs, Cassie found herself without her power source. She reluctantly accepted half of Ares' godly abilities, a gift from the war god in exchange for Cassie accepting him as her brother.

Infinite Crisis

As the final battle with the maniacal Alexander Luthor loomed, Cassie reunited with Conner, followed by the two finally consummate their relationship. Their newfound love was not to last, however, as Superboy seemingly died heroically while single-handedly destroying Luthor's universe-generation machine.

After Superboy's apparent death, a depressed and vulnerable Cassie found herself taken in by a Kryptonian resurrection cult in hopes of bringing Superboy back to life. She ultimately saw through the "Cult of Conner" with the help of Ralph Dibny, the Elongated Man (even if it seemed they may have stumbled onto some true results in their resurrection ceremony).

52

Directly after Infinite Crisis, the Teens Titans fall apart. Cassandra leaves the Titans during the year in which 52 takes place, following Robin's departure. She feels abandoned by her best friends.

Cassie becomes involved in an online cult heavily influenced by Kryptonian culture. She sets up an altar in Titans Tower with Kryptonian crystals and a gold figure with the Superman-insignia, which means "hope" in Kryptonian. Soon, Ralph Dibny approaches her because someone defaced the grave of his wife Sue with an upside down 'S' Shield, which in Kryptonian means "restoration."

About five days later, Cassie and her fellow cult members meet with Ralph. Cassie mentions that it was another member, Devem, who led her to join. Cassie explains that the goal of the cult is to resurrect Superboy. As a test of their process, they intend to restore Sue Dibny.

Cassie and Ralph attend a ceremony designed to resurrect Sue, but Ralph grows suspicious and with the help of other superheroes, disrupts the ceremony, destroying the Kryptonite which was essential to the process.

Cassie leaves with Devem, blaming Ralph for destroying her chances to restore Superboy. After stopping Weather Wizard in Metropolis, Cassie meets Supernova and refers to him incorrectly as Kon-El, who actually turns out to be Booster Gold in disguise.

One Year Later

After regaining her senses, an increasingly violent and erratic Wonder Girl began a career as a solo superhero by tracking the Brotherhood of Evil. This search brought her to Robin's new Teen Titans team, whose membership she accepted begrudgingly.

Still unable to fully cope with Superboy's death, Cassie found herself working alongside Robin in the hopes of resurrecting Conner -- all while trying to control a new and unwanted attraction to the Boy Wonder. Wonder Girl and Robin did share a kiss in front of Superboy's costume, and Cassie then ran away crying. Nothing came of the kiss and the attraction seemed to have ended.

The Teen Titans were called on to save Raven from Bombshell, who was hired by Deathstroke the Terminator to get Jericho's disk back since it held his soul. Raven used one of Brother Blood's spells to cleanse Jericho of the evil force that once held him in its thrall. Wonder Girl asked if Raven could do the same for Superboy, but Raven said that she could not detect Conner's soul.

The Titans were kidnapped by the Titans East and the two teams fought. It was very hard for Wonder Girl and Robin since a Superboy look-alike (Match, a bizarro version of Connor) was there, and he looked and spoke just like Conner.

Match even went as far as to say that he was Conner. This enraged Wonder Girl, but Match seemed to truly have some memories that belonged to Conner, so Cassie stopped fighting him for a moment. Match took this opportunity to knock her and Robin out.

The entire team was now beaten, until Nightwing, Donna Troy, and Flash showed up and helped defeat the Titans East.

The Leader of the Teen Titans

The Titans then took a drastic new turn. When Robin left to return to Gotham after the death of Batman, Cassie became the team leader. Miss Martian and Ravager left the team. After Wonder Girl told Supergirl that the only reason they were friends was that she was her only remaining link to Conner, Supergirl also quit the team. Cassie was left with Red Devil and Blue Beetle but soon recruited other new members -- Bombshell, Static, Aquagirl and Miss Martian eventually returned.

Wonder Girl found herself leading a new team that had very little experience in working with each other, which was incredibly difficult since she had even less experience at leading a team.

When Titans veteran Beast Boy arrived and told Wonder Girl that the Teen Titans needed a real leader, Wonder Girl and her team remained adamant that Cassie was the true leader of the Teen Titans. The mystical enemy known only as Wyld arrives and attacked Raven. This led to Raven rejoining the team and the Titans fighting off Wyld and his horde.

Wonder Girl has remained the leader of the Teen Titans, growing in confidence as the team becomes tighter and more efficient. On a mission in Dakota, Wonder Girl and her team do battle with Holocaust and get captured which leads to ex-Titans Kid Flash and Superboy to rejoin the team.

Following the mission, Cassie has shown that she has mixed feelings about her recently restored boyfriend Superboy. Upon their return from Dakota, Raven is abducted by Wyld once again and Cassie and the Titans travel into the Wyld's tainted dimension in order to save their teammate.

The team works well together but are marred by bad luck as Aquagirl and Bombshell are overwhelmed and lost in the dark depths of the ocean. While other members of Cassie's Titans also leave the team following this mission for different reasons, Wonder Girl decides that she cannot lead heroes who she does not feel comfortable leading.

Following this decision, Wonder Girl invites Ravager to rejoin the team, which Rose surprisingly agrees to. Seeming to begin anew, Wonder Girl has developed a professional attitude while leading the team. This rubs Superboy the wrong way and their relationship continues to be strained. Batman (Dick Grayson) arrives at the Tower and requests that Robin (Damian Wayne) be put on the team despite not being a teenager. Wonder Girl accepts this new Robin and the team does battle with new villains Dr. Caligan, Headcase and the Feral Boys.

Wonder Girl recently starred in her own one-shot title, released in 2011. While visiting her mother at an architectural conference in London, Wonder Girl met a teenage girl of Indian descent named Kiran.

After a brief but friendly conversation, Kiran revealed herself to be the super-heroine called Solstice. Wonder Girl and Solstice teamed up to do battle against villain Lady Zand, a tyrannical ruler of Zandia that was searching for lost artifacts from her country.

The duo worked well together despite Lady Zand escaping. Following this battle, Cassie seemed to mend her relationship with her mother, which had grown cold since Cassie had taken over leadership of the Teen Titans.

Cassie has also over the same time frame appeared as a supporting character in the Wonder Woman title. She is usually called upon when Diana needs additional firepower (such as against Circe) or when the Amazons have needed to stand united against a threat (such as against Genocide). Her lack of confidence in her actions has occasionally been used against her by such villains as Devastation.

Red Robin (Tim Drake) decides to reclaim his place amongst the Teen Titans and the band is back together. Wonder Girl immediately relieves herself of leadership and allows Red Robin to take the reigns once more. Superboy and Cassie are officially broken up and the team responds to a missing person report from Cassie's mother, Dr. Helena Sandsmark. Once they arrive, the Titans find themselves in battle with Hindu demons. But with Solstice as their ally, the Titans may have a shot at defeating them.

Infinite Frontier

After being alerted to Yara Flor's presence, Cassie volunteered to the Amazons to keep Yara safe. She then went on a search to find where Yara was and ran into Artemis along the way. They had a brief fight before Cassie convinced Artemis to work together with her.

They eventually found Yara but the interaction was short. Artemis confronted Yara and Cassie tried (and failed) to calm them down. Before following Artemis and leaving, Cassie gave Yara some advice with being Wonder Girl.

Later, Cassie ranted to her uncle Hermes about the situation. When he had to leave, she talked with Potira and apologized for Artemis' behavior. Potira then revealed to Cassie that she was a part of a tribe and Cassie was happily surprised to learn of another tribe. Potira took her to their city and revealed to her their plans to battle the Olympians. Before Cassie could say something about that, Potira surprised her again by showing her that their "last weapon" was Donna Troy.

Donna and Cassie talked, where Donna told her that after she had failed to check-in with the Amazons on her mission to meet Yara, Donna was sent after her, where she met the other tribe. They walked with the other women to confront the Olympian gods.

Abilities

When Cassie first became Wonder Girl, she attempted to fight crime with the help of Amazon artifacts "borrowed" from Wonder Woman. She derived super strength from the Gauntlet of Atlas while gaining flight and super speed from the "Sandals of Hermes." It was also during this period that she was trained in unarmed combat, largely by former Wonder Woman stand-in Artemis.

The powers granted to Cassie by Zeus were largely the same as those granted by the artifacts, but they operated at a higher level. Unfortunately, they also came with a rarely used loophole given to Cassie's mother Helena, wherein her powers could be canceled if her mother so wished.

Soon after Cassie joined the Teen Titans, she was granted the Lasso of Ares by the War-god himself. The lasso gave Cassie the ability to manipulate electricity through it's enchanted fibers. She also has a suit of Armor similar to Diana's with a shield and sword to go with it, for times of great Danger or need.

When Zeus and the rest of the Olympic Pantheon left Earth during the Infinite Crisis, Cassie realized that her powers were waning -- with some instances of total failure. In order to help defeat Alexander Luthor, Cassie finally gave into Ares, taking half of his powers to replace what she had lost. She seems to have retained her former abilities, but recent battles show her strength may have been enhanced -- a fact Cassie herself has commented on.

Cassie served Ares as his connection to our realm, until recently when he brought his son back to take her place. After talking to her father, Cassie realized that she had spent too much time relying on others first artifacts, then her father and later her brother.

During her battle with her nephew, she gave him all of her brother's power and was able to tap into the divine energy that was her birthright as a daughter of Zeus. Cassie appears to have all the same abilities, though her strength has once more increased.

Superhuman Strength

Cassie Partial Olympian flesh and bone is about one and a half times as dense as similar human tissue, contributing to the Olympians' superhuman strength and weight. Cassie when powered by Zeus previously, was not as strong and could lift around 100 tons, and could effortlessly throw a bus around. Now Cassie is much stronger after she taps into her own powers from being the daughter of Olympian God Zeus Cassie powers grow to now being able to lift in excess of 100 tons.

Superhuman Durability

Cassie possesses a high resistance to damage and magical attacks. If she were somehow wounded, her partial godly energies would enable her to recover with superhuman speed.

Flight

Cassie can also mystically fly through the atmosphere through sure act of will, enabling her to soar through the atmosphere at sub-orbital levels and travel across the planet. She is immune from the effects of extreme height, such as dizziness and lightheartedness.

Superhuman Reflexes

Cassie is fast enough, her mind processes information at least on a subliminal level that she is aware of her surroundings. She is fast enough to deflect and catch bullets.

Superhuman Speed

Cassie can move at supersonic speeds. She can move fast enough to not register in the normal peripheral range of humans and seemingly vanish and disappear at will.

Healing

Cassie's body heals at a superhuman level.

Superhuman Agility

Cassie's agility is far beyond that of even an Olympic level athlete.

Superhuman Stamina

Cassie can last a great deal of time in any fight.

Superhuman Senses

All five of Cassie senses can be used to a superhuman degree.

Martial Combat

Cassie can fight armed and unarmed and has had Amazon training.

Divine Birthright

Cassie being the daughter of Olympian God Zeus, Cassie can tap into her own powers as a demi-god (like her brother Heracles). Her real powers increased to an even greater level of strength and abilities than ever before. Cassie is still a young girl and as she grows so may her powers and abilities and she may one day be even greater than Wonder Woman herself or join her father as an Olympian Goddess.

Lasso of Lightning

The Lasso of Lightning is a mystical item given to Cassandra Sandsmark by her brother Ares. Lightning emitted by the whip is fueled by its wielder's anger. This allows Cassie to expels Zeus's lightning when used in anger.

Bracelets

These are a pair of steel cuffs that are indestructible because they were created from Amazon magic, Cassie's Bracelets work like Diana's. Cassie uses her super reflexes to deflect projectiles, blades, punches, or any form of offensive attack used against her. She can also use them to deflect an object back into her enemies.

Amazon Armour

When faced with a large threat Cassie will wear her Amazon Battle Armor for added protection as well as use martial weapons such as swords.

Sandals of Hermes

The Sandals of the God Hermes, this enchanted winged footwear gives its wearer flight and enhanced speed. When Cassie first became Wonder Girl, she attempted to fight crime with the help of Amazon artifacts "borrowed" from Wonder Woman. She long since gained her own powers and abilities.

Gauntlet of Atlas

The Gauntlet of Atlas magnifies its wearer's strength by a factor of ten. However, the wearer must be careful or find themselves in a frenzied state. Wonder Woman herself has used the gauntlet on occasion but is hesitant to do so due to the difficulty in controlling her strength at such a level. hen Cassie first became Wonder Girl, she attempted to fight crime with the help of Amazon artifacts "borrowed" from Wonder Woman. She long since gained her own powers and abilities.

Weaknesses

Maternal De-empowerment: Discouraged by previously shown arrogance in his children (Ares and Heracles), Zeus also blessed Cassie's mother with the ability to take away her powers for a short time via a simple touch. After Cassie taps into her own powers as demi-god it is now shown is her mother can still take away her powers. Cassie is somewhat vulnerable to piercing weapons, such as projectiles. Rifle or top notch machine-gun fire can cause bruising to slight penetration wounds.

Round 3

Dynamo formula: Agents Goldtooth hair, Ninjago Lloyd head, arms, and hands, Skateboarder torso, CMF Skater Girl pants.

Dynamo inspiration: I got the name from a character I used to pretend I was when my cousin and I pretended we were superheroes. Nothing else like him is the same. His powers come from me wanting a hero with a lot of abilities but the limitation idea came from the character Peter Petrelli on the show Heroes. I just liked the gold head and hair and thought it looked a little like Colossus, so I went with it. Fun Fact: His last name is Knox, which alludes to Fort Knox which is famous for having gold.

Patriot X formula: BrickForge Shock Trooper helmet and armor with modifications by me. CMF Galaxy Patrol Torso and legs assembly. Dark red hands. Head ?(it's a secret)?

Patriot X inspiration: Looks like Captain America and Iron Man mashup? Sure is. ;) I actually made this character in hopes of BrickForge doing a similar print when I worked for them. Never say never.

Omega Zero formula: Cad Bane Breathing Aparatus, Ninjago NRG Zane head, BrickForge vambrace, Chima left arm, Alpha Team Diamond legs, Mr. Freeze torso.

Omega Zero inspiration: This is my Mr. Freeze type villain. All rogue galleries need a cold based villain, so I wanted one too. The name was inspired by Sub-zero and Omega Red which is where I got the idea to make him Russian. I think he looks way cooler than his original look: www.flickr.com/photos/51975999@N05/9971681926/in/album-72... Fun fact: when choosing his alter ego, the last name Morozov means "Freeze".

First in the transformation series

In tribute to the Black Widow from the new Avengers Movie. This Femme-Fatale doesn't need superpowers to kickass!

History:

Gage Garnet has always been a man obsessed with doing what is right, no matter the costs to himself or to others. During his youth, he was obsessed with comics and yearned to be like those men on the colorful pages. He and his brother Jack would spend hours dressing up like superheroes imagining that they were saving the world. As Gage matured, he showed more of an interest in writing and moved to the big city to pursue his interests. While working for The City Tribune, Gage covered a series of stories involving the rise of real heroes in the city. Men and women who put on costumes to fight crime, it was like his dream come true and here he was on the front lines documenting their rise to power. Tragically, in the midst of Gage’s rise to success as a reporter, his family home is robbed and his parents are tragically murdered by the robbers. His younger brother Jack manages to escape the violence and will grow up to join the NBPD. Feeling helpless and responsible for the murder, Gage crafts his own costume and trains with the help of Gothic. He soon adopts his alter ego The Crimson Cloak, and decides to track down those responsible for the murder. It isn’t long before Gage is covering the stories of his own exploits, articles that soon reach the attention of a fledgling group of masked heroes known as the League of Heroes. The Cloak is invited to join the League. For the next few years, Gage fights crime alongside the virtuous members of the League of Heroes, keeping the city safe. As the League of Heroes grows stronger and more powerful, Cobalt Cyclone, Silver Sentry, and Viridia all decide that it would be best to remove their masks publicly to gain the trust of the citizens and to remove any doubt that could be cast upon them by a growing crowd of skeptics. The Crimson Cloak disagrees with this measure, as he does not want his career in vigilantism to hurt his brother’s reputation at his new job on the police force. The Cloak declares that he will step down from the team and leave his career as a superhero behind. Gothic, a fellow teammate and also a detractor of this measure, does not wish to have his identity revealed though he will make an even more public statement of protest. The day arrives for the big reveal; the heroes are all assembled on the steps of City Hall, Cobalt Cyclone steps up to the microphone and address the crowd… and BOOM! A bomb explodes from underneath the podium killing the Cobalt Cyclone, severely injuring Silver Sentry, and sending the crowd into a panic. The Crimson Cloak swings into action, and begins investigating the crime. By following the clues he soon comes to the conclusion that The Skull, the most powerful crime boss in the city was behind the plot, though he is in for an even bigger surprise when he discovers that The Skull is in fact his former friend and teammate Gothic. In the wake of the bombing, the League of Heroes falls apart. Public support for masked heroes hits an all-time low. The Crimson Cloak decides that he will be all that stands between the evil that plagues the city and the justice that he feels the citizens deserve. Becoming darker and more detached, The Crimson Cloak becomes obsessed with his self-imposed duty even at the expense of losing his own identity in the process.

Round 12

Scarlet formula: Ninjago Kai torso & legs assembly, Ninjago dark red bandana, Friends black ponytail, Monster Fighters Ann Lee head, CMF Motorcycle Mechanic left arm.

Scarlet inspirations: Originally I got the idea from the character Red Claw from Batman The Animated Series. I even named her Crimson Claw in the beginning and thought she'd make a good Catwoman adversary for my main protagonist Creed. As I found better parts for her and joined LOH, Jeremy Green had his main hero named Crimson Cloak. It was too similar for me and so I decided to change her name. It was pretty easy because she already had the scar on her face and Scarlet seemed like an obvious choice. I guess you can see a little bit of Elektra in her because of the martial arts skills. Her alter ego is a pretty clever of Japanese and and Italian sounding last name. Akane means red in Japanese and Scarletti has a pretty cool sound to it with obvious meaning.

Aragoto formula: BrickForge Pony Tail, Torso decal by me, Arealight Loincloth, Ninjago General Kozu head.

Aragoto inspiration: I needed a villainous Hulk type character and this was my answer. He was my other character that was intended to be a big fig, but I couldn't pull off what I wanted. My attempt was all in my head though, as I saved the knockoff Hulk I got on e-bay from a suggestion from Andhe. His name was a suggestion from Jeremy Green who told me that Aragoto was also the style of face paint similar to the pattern on the head. His original name was Red Sun which I copied from the game Freedom Force. I liked the name, but I wanted a name change. No worries though, I have a future character that I plan on using the name for.

Violet Vertigo formula: Brick Warriors purple mohawk, CMF Disco Diva torso assembly & legs assembly. CMF Warroir Woman head.

Violet Vertigo inspirations. I was playing around with some loose parts when I stumbled across this character. The silver circles on the torso and legs is what got me thinking. I wanted a character with vertigo powers so I started working on combinations that looked good. I liked the mohawk for her and since I was limited on purple hair, it worked. I thought about changing the head, but this one looked fine and I already owned it. Her backstory about being a rich bratty kid with an unfortunate circumstance was a nice change from my usual stuff. Her alter ego was taken for people associated with the Alfred Hitchcock film Vertigo.

History:

Kimberly Alison was an orphan whose past became erased when she was “sold” to an unnamed origination. The orphanage was a front that would sell children to be experimented on in hopes of creating special powered beings. Kimberly was one of the earlier subjects and managed to escape her confines. The orphanage was shut down, but it is believed the organization she was sold to still exists. Her escape would take her far away to New Blok where she would live as a vagrant among the homeless in the streets. The experiments on her involved splicing feline DNA with her own and gave her some amazing abilities. She has a heightened sense of hearing, smell, and vision, along with being able to see in the dark and detect someone’s emotional state. Her strength and agility become increased and her reflexes surpass that of a normal human. She has retractable claws that she can use to climb or defend herself. The trauma of her past has caused her to have bouts of amnesia. She refers to these as her “nine lives” since every time something traumatic happens, she forgets her past. She retains intellectual, linguistic, and social skills, while her instincts keep her from losing who she is. Kimberly has taken the name Wyldcat and began fighting the injustice that happens in the dark alleys of the city. Always looking to move forward, she aspires to live a normal life. Being new to city, she has managed to stay below the radar, but it’s only a matter of time before she makes some powerful enemies…..or friends.

Round 8

Grimstone formula: Black flat top hair, Monster Fighters Monster Butler head, CMF Gargoyle torso assembly, CMF Specter ghost lower body.

Grimstone inspiration: The original idea for him was to be like Tombstone with super strength and the ability to phase into objects. He was originally called Pinstripe and I got that name from the computer game Freedom Force. I wanted him to be the strong silent type mob enforcer to go with Top Hat. They were a package deal. I since decided to give him 2 types of body transformation powers and changed his name to Grimstone. I like it better and it fits better when not wearing his usual pinstripe suit. I wanted something to represent both the stone body and fog like aspect and the name came to me after a bit of thinking.

Top Hat formula: Brick Warriors top hat, Agents Dollar Bill head, Lex Luthor torso assembly, yellow hands, Brick Fortress mini action legs.

Top Hat inspirations: I wanted another mob boss with a little twist. I used inspiration from both the Penguin and also Kingpin. The head is what got me started and I love the Brick Fortress mini action legs. His torso and hat have changed, but these are better. His powers were inspired by the character Eric Doyle on Heroes. I wasn't a big fan of the power to control someone like a puppet until I saw how they did it on that show.

Lute formula: Brickwarriors lime mohawk, Capemadness jacket, Atlantis Portal Emperor head, CMF Punk Rocker legs assembly, sand green arms, dark bluish gray hands, Custom torso by The Decal Creator modified by me.

Lute inspirations: First of all, I changed his name a ton of times. I settled on Lute because it is a nickname for a leather-back turtle and the head is supposed to be turtle accordiny to the website. I wanted a creature type good guy, but the mohawk and jacket helped me give him some personality. I made him a British punk type guy and since I'm a big Billy Idol fan, that is who I modeled his voice after. I'd have to say he reminds me of Thing the most when it comes to characteristics, with a little bit of Wolverine thrown in there. He might be one of my characters that went the most from being a thrown together minifig to one with a lot of depth in their character.

About Me!!!!!

Hey guys, in celebration of my almost one year "Flickrverssary". I will be doing a little backstory on me!

Name: Ain't saying ;) just call me Bob

Age: Mid teens

Superpowers: Great creativity!

Weakness: Golem & Crocodiles (scares the crap outta me XD)

Weapons: A bunch of Lego head stacks lol

Backstory: At a young age Bob always loved superheroes, he wanted to work for Marvel and make superheroes for them. As he grew older Bob wanted to make his own superheroes then he found Flickr. After seeing the LOLH GROUP with Andhe:-)

Bob wanted to join for almost two years(can't remember the exact amount maybe like one and half years). Eagerly making his own superheroes and villains for years, Bob was finally allowed Flickr and finally was able to show his creations which he loves.

Bob soon joined the LOLH and met really great people which supported his ideas and welcomed him to Flickr and from then on he's stayed because of the great support and friends. Bob also is part of the OC Superheroes group which he welcomes everyone to join. As much as Bob loves Flickr and showing his ideas he wants to be the next Marvel or DC but in his mind it's only dreams he doesn't think he's got what it takes to do it or know how, which kinda sucks.

Thanks for reading guys and thanks for all the support btw this guy in the pic is almost exactly how I look lol I even wear that exact stuff lol

Oh and a big thank you to Squeamish Gopher because he was the first ever person to welcome me to Flickr and was the first to follow me :) thank you!

This issue is from Peter Parker's perspective.

----

Aunt May asked me to go buy eggs, so I went after eggs. Eggs, eggs, eggs. All of this is happening because of eggs. Holy crap. First of all, there’s a really cute girl with superpowers trying to rob the grocery store. I’m not sure if the “never hit a girl” thing still applies when they can throw exploding fireballs at you, so I’m gonna have to take a chance here. Secondly, there are cops surrounding the building. I probably wouldn’t know if they didn’t keep yelling it over a speaker. “Lana Baumgartner, we have the building surrounded! Come out with your hands above your head!” has been said about a million times. The building is filled with civilians, so they don’t want to risk barging in and firing at her. The problem with this is that she’s not intimidated by the police whatsoever.

I slip into the restroom and pull off my clothes. Thankfully, I decided to wear my glorified long johns underneath of them today. I lock my discarded garments in a stall and then climb out of it. Someone here will probably figure out my secret, but an emergency is an emergency. Besides, Peter Parker is an average-looking nobody.

I step out of the restroom and nonchalantly walk toward Lana, who is pulling wads of cash out of the store’s registers. “I think I’ll call you Bombshell.” I say, flirtatiously. She ignores me and continues sifting through the cash register. I almost feel hurt.

In a second attempt to get her attention, I run in front of Lana and start waving my arms. “Don’t just stand there, help me out.” she snaps.

“Help you out?” I ask. In response, she points to the registers that she hasn’t gone through yet. “Uh, I think you have the wrong idea.”

“You’re a cop, then?”

“Something like that.” I say, without any caution. She casually flings a ball of fire at me in response, without even looking up. My spider sense gives me plenty of time to avoiding getting blown up, but she doesn’t notice. “How’s a guy to impress a girl if she won’t look at him?”

“You survived that?” she asks, still paying little attention.

“Yeah, it’s hard to exterminate a pest like me.”

“So are you going to help or not?”

“Will you be my girlfriend?” I joke.

She finally looks up. “If you’re hot.” she says, smirking.

“I guess there’s no point in helping, then.” I wince.

She sighs and throws another ball of fire at me. “Are you here to play or something?”

I jump out of the way. “I just want to make sure everyone gets out safe, alright? I’m not interested in a fight.”

“I don’t care if the customers leave, I had no interest in hurting them to begin with. I wouldn’t mind fighting you, though. You’re annoying.”

“How nice of you.”

“EVERYONE, GET OUT BEFORE I HAVE TO KILL YOU!” she screams. I see several people run toward the door out of the corner of my eye.

“Wow, such eloquent words.”

“You’re the asshole standing around and making jokes from behind a mask.”

“You’re a criminal, you’re not allowed to complain about me being an ass!”

“I’m not a criminal.”

“Then why are you robbing this place?”

“I need money.”

“Stealing is a crime, though.”

“I’m not a criminal!” she insists, launching another of her signature fireballs in my direction. This time it misses.

“There’s always another way, Lana. I can help you obtain money legally, if you don’t want to commit a crime.”

“It’s too late for that, idiot. The crime has already been committed and I don’t have time to do things your way. It’s not like I wanted this.”

“What do you need money for, anyway?”

“Look, I don’t have time to answer your questions. Either help or leave.”

“I’m afraid I can’t do either of those things. You wanted to fight me, right? I don’t want to mess up your pretty face, but I’m not going to sit around and let you take what’s not yours.” With that said, I leap toward the light pole beside her and spin around on it to kick her. She steps back in time for my foot to miss and charges up another fireball. At this proximity, it’s too difficult to escape the flame’s path; it grazes my butt, singing the costume and probably exposing a little more of me than I’d like. Lana takes a moment to laugh at what she’s done. Her smile makes me happy. She’s just a girl my age, why would she have to resort to a life of crime?

“What should I call you?” she randomly asks, as if we weren’t just fighting.

“Spider-Man.”

“Alright. Watch this, Spider-Man.” She picks up a banana that someone left behind in the chaos and it starts to glow. She throws it on the ground in front of me and it explodes, just like one of her fireballs

“I assume that also works on other objects?”

She laughs again. “Nope, just bananas.”

Once more, she charges up a fireball. I run toward her and lightly tackle her. The blast goes past my head and hits the ceiling, which catches on fire. I get off of her and look around, suddenly realizing that the ceiling isn’t the only thing that’s ablaze. She seems to notice, too. She pushes off the floor and looks at me with sad eyes.

“This is my fault, not yours.” I say, trying to comfort her.

“I’m a monster.” she responds.

“No, you’re just Lana Baumgartner. I heard the police say so.”

“But look at what I caused!” she yells, her eyes darting around the room in a complete frenzy.

“It wouldn’t be a problem if I hadn’t dodged your shots.” I jest.

She gets on her feet and walks toward the entrance. “I’m surrendering myself while they still have time to put out the fire.” she mumbles, tears now rolling down her face.

“Wait, what’d you need the money for?”

“I needed a way to pay for my mom’s treatment.”

“Oh.” I mouth, not knowing what I should say. It’s probably not a good time to point out that they wouldn’t have let her use the money if they knew she stole it.

“You should get out of here before they try to blame this on you. Thank you for talking me out of stealing.” she sobs.

I run toward Lana to give her a hug. It’s probably an awkward gesture, but I do it anyway. “I think they’ll understand.” is all I say before running back to the restroom to grab my clothes. Man, this whole situation is weird. I feel bad for her.
