Initially went to Sutton Scarsdale Hall, Derbyshire, trying to catch the Super Blue Moon (low moon rising). Within 10 minutes of arriving there, it began to rain, sleet, snow and hail quite profusely It was bitterly cold and cloud simply covered the moon as it appeared. Later that evening around 10:30, the Super Blue Moon was high and climbing. He's a little of what I saw. Hope you enjoy it too :)
The technical term for a Supermoon is perigee-syzygy. This was a rare opportunity to see the Super Blue Moon!

There was a break in the clouds and I finally got to see the Super Moon reasonably close up.
View from: Nottingham Lakeside Arts, University Park, Nottingham.
Taken on September 27, 2015 around 6:50pm (PDT) at Mt. Soledad Memorial Cross in La Jolla, CA, overlooking east of San Diego. Prime focus - Canon T1i + Meade ETX-70
Blood moon eclipse, not to be seen again for 18 more years. Taken from my front porch in Seattle, not great exposure on my part.
Day 23 of our Darwin to Broome holiday - and the last but one day. We were due to go on a Kayak and Swim With The Turtles trip - but it got cancelled because of high winds. So - we slobbed out in the pool most of the day!

I have so many photos from the eclipse but since I was shooting so frequently there wasn't much photo to photo change. So I just compiled a bunch into one big photo to show the changes.
Only the last half of the eclipse was visible from my location, Canda's Southwestern coast (Vancouver), the first half occurred below the horizon.
Composite image of the total lunar eclipse on September 27, 2015 as seen from Mt.Soledad Memorial Cross in La Jolla, CA. Made of 12 images - 11 images of the moon plus one image of the night sky (taken on the same night) showing some stars, which are not really obvious anyway :.þ
The photo showing the 2nd moon to the lower left shows the actual position of the moon during that phase, and it's also the main photo used as background. The rest were place there just to show progression.
Pictures were taken using Canon 5d Mark II with 70-200 mm lens and Canon Rebel T1i + Meade ETX-70 (prime focus).
This was my last photo of the night. You can see that the top right corner of the moon is still slightly shadowed from the eclipse. I seen the plane coming and so I just had to catch it on the moon. I just wish the plane was a slight bit lower. (2015_09_27_16313)
EVERY photo I took of the eclipse, edited together into a time lapse with Windows Movie Maker. Background music is just me, playing a little tune on the piano. Taken from Rosedale, Maryland.
