We thought someone was gonna get hurt (yard is surrounded by brick/concrete) but it ended up being really fun!
This house was in dire need of attention just a scant few years ago. How wonderful to see that the current owners have gone all out to sympathetically update and improve this super place. There is nothing more delightful in interior design than thoughtful use of blended bright and bold colors, and a witty and creative sense of furnishing and décor. These folks have super fabulous taste. Their use of antique and contemporary furniture and art side by side together from room to room is soooo freakin cool. I'm just loving every inch of this house both architecturally, and with regard to it's interior design. The Hirshfeld as you walk in the front door; the collection of grannies finery in the ante room; the unbelievably exquisite music cabinet and grandfather clock; - - all of it is just CHOICE.. So much fun. And That St. Charles kitchen! OY - I die.. So much to say about this BEAUTIFUL home. I really hope they are selling for happy reasons because they deserve to enjoy this house FAR longer than they have owned it.. NICELY DONE!!!

Sometimes i love so much to be in full contact with nature, mostly when my head is full of thoughts..today i stayed under the rain and it was terribly liberating.. so this is a shot that pretty much resumes my day :)
Also I’ve been listening non-stop the new album of James Morrison!!love it love it love it! I highly recommend it!

Another card made using die cut felt flowers. HA Looped Flower background stamped down one edge and sentiment from Good Friends. A bit of patterned paper and a few pearls to finish.

Look! My first double wedding ring quilt is finished! Heh heh heh.
I made a vow this year to start four projects using fabric already in the house. Here's started project number 2 -- a double wedding ring using the fabrics in my Anna Maria Horner stash. I have tons of fabric leftover from my Loulouthi and Field Study quilts, and I finally decided that my Good Folks broken dishes quilt is just never going to happen. I'm mixing up all three lines, and will put them on a Kona snow background because that's what I have in the house. Will it take me forever? Yes! Will I ever finish it? Probably not! Has it been fun already? Dude, YES. I'm using Darlene Zimmerman's easy wedding ring templates, which are perfect for cutting around, so I don't have to bother with tracing and then hand-cutting, like I was doing with the clamshells a few years ago. I haven't futzed with the background pieces yet, and maybe those will be a giant pain to cut and piece, but so far, this is superfun. If nothing else, I can make a whole bunch of pretty arcs and toss them around like confetti.

This piece was done in 2 full days using Montana Gold spray paint, Frogger tape and DTM paint. Primed with two layers as base coat prior to painting. The approved art concept was executed freehand. No projectors or grids used to execute.
