I wanted a bigger splash than the photo I did earlier and I wanted this to be a silhouette splash. I'd also like a better background. Ah well. Not enough time to try this again today.

These parts and the bullet are left over from a recovery operation.
In 2003 a bomber was dug up who had been lying deep underground since it was shot down on the 11th may of 1941. Lots of my family members, saw this British bomber called a Short Stirling come down all on fire.
After all these years, finally action was undertaken. Because of a local industrial place wanted to get bigger. The remains of the wreckage were dug up. And the little remains of the rest of the crew members were still there.
And Bombs too. The local government pressed that first the bombs were taken away and then the rest…
These parts where found by me in a waste container, after bombs were dismantled. And where used by a nephew of mine years after this all for an expo about the second world war at his school.
And a year after the remains and boms where all cleaned up. A monument was erected. To honour the crew members.

After a live drawing performance on tv show The Voice I was asked to make a giant machine to be animated and shown during a performance of jury member Bent van Looy's team. Behold! The Phage, one of our brother camps in The Institute Village. They consist of everybody I know who triple majored in neuroscience, robotics, and physics. They are all doctoral candidates in being formidably awesome, with special degrees in superfun times.
We were both enthused and humbled to be their neighbors and villagemates. They were like a nonstop play-doh funfactory that constantly extruded delights that were both structural (dome of fantastical wonder, replete with crow's nest and deathhammocks™; fire sculptures, illuminated signage, power yurt, secret bar, spa) and intellectual (a nightly symposium of intriguing sciency talks that made us cower with fear of being revealed as dumdumheads). Three cheers for The Phage!

She came over today and we got panda and then walked to this park. We ate our panda as a picnic and took a bunch of picture. :] Over all an amazing day.

This project was superfun and supereasy. It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish. I stitched some fabric on the bottom to make it more durable.

Even if i have to scream and shout
had a great day expanding my mind in the photo department at an ED seminar. Then had the great pleasure of watching Jon , Brian and Chris at work. their brains are so big and full of knowledge. i only got a couple shots off for my 365, but i was soaking in even more knowledge... thanks guys!!

My homemade drone with 8 motors from 2012.
It could lift my Nikon DSLR and my camcorder with ease.
No GPS or fancy flightcontrollers. You had to learn how to fly a drone manually. It was superfun and a big challange.
