This is a part from a double glassed welding glass.
You can clap the extra glasses over the first set.
This provides extra protection, when welding or in my case, watching the sun. And I used it when watching solar eclipses in the Netherlands.
An old jar with windmill grease. I used to research that fat. i now use it for lubricating screws and nuts ....

After a superfun hike through snow n ice we ended up at this waterfall on Mnt Hood.
I didn't have a lot of time in this location so that's why this simple and quite straight forward comp. Anyhow, I feel for waterfalls it's often a valid way to go. The challenge is more about getting in and out again without loosing or soaking stuff, as well as the often high dynamic light conditions. Again, little time and therefore no bracket ... aiyh, the more I write the more I wonder why I feel like posting it, haha.

My kids have been wanting Pick Up Sticks..can you believe it? In the age of video games they wanted a classic like that. I looked every where during Christmas but tonight at Target in the clearance section there for $2 they were. They have been playing with them all night. Its fun really. I had forgotten. Plus you get to be together. We are a family that loves games so this just adds to the fun. Come on try it you'll be surprised.
Saw Fran Jerry and Chris play tonight at the Steaming Cup. Was joined by Jay, Alisha, Spike, and Jess. Superfun time. I drank and amazing Irish Raspberry Mocha smoothie and now I'm feeling phlegmy fromthe dairy...oh well. It was worth it.

So this is the shoot me and Aaron were planning on doing last night after we went to see Hamlet performed in a cave, but didn't quite make due to how freakin' sleepy we both were!! So we decided to give it a shot tonight instead - and oh what fun it was!!!
I'm sat here typing still in full clown make-up whilst my love edits his shot behind me on my bed. The make-up was superfun to do, it was my job to make Aaron's run down his face and his was to pick out all the jewelery for the shot! He especially liked the flower which I had to help him put in his hair :)
Today was so fun, we did our first ever client photoshoot together - a band called Sykes. They were so full of life and energy and we got some really good shots of them - plus they fed us!!! In the end they ended up taking some shots of me and Aaron too, which we'll probably upload!!
Gotta get up in 6hours though, tomorrow we are going to the ZOO!!!!!
