This gorgeous tree on the edge of the water on Bribie Island on Sunday was perfectly placed for sunset. There were people along the foreshore fishing and just enjoying the last moments of the day.

I spent around an hour and a half trying to explore all the photographic possibilities of these waterfalls. I was particularly happy with how this sunstar came out.

2022-23: Judge merit award out of 3648 entries in Photocrowd 'Single Tree' competition in November 2022. Judge merit award out of 1000 entries in Photocrowd 'Starburst Effect (in colour)' competition in December 2022.
Noticed that there was a shaft of sunlight picking out the minature japanese maple in the back garden, had to spring into action to try and capture the moment.
