Natural starburst peeking through the trees.
I already long for the leaves to return to the trees, along with warm temperatures and blue skies.
This photograph was taken today at sunrise in Lower Seletar Reservoir. It was a slightly breezy morning, with various clouds differently illuminated. Two sunstars were captured, with the secondary one as reflection in the reservoir. The captivating reflections of the sun, Heritage Bridge and clouds provide key interests to the landscape.
The Lower Peirce Reservoir, Singapore's second-oldest reservoir was commissioned in 1912. This small reservoir has paved paths which have spots for sunset views, including the pavilion that provides a nice contrast with the vegetation around the reservoir.
This photograph was taken last month at sunset, with the sun captured as sunstar within the pavilion and above the vegetation in the background. The colourful clouds and sky added to the mood of the landscape at sunset.

This photograph was taken from the Lower Seletar Reservoir Heritage Bridge looking towards the Orchid Country Club. The morning sun and its reflection were captured as sunstars. The various cloud formations were also reflected in the surface of the reservoir.

This photograph was taken two days ago just at sunrise in Lower Seletar Reservoir. It was a calm morning, with drifting clouds of various shapes illuminated differently by the sun.
The sun was behind two trees and peeked out for a short period, with the sun recorded as captivating sunstar The reflections of the vegetation and clouds provided complementary interests to the serene landscape.
Shooting into the low evening sun with sunset in 1.5 hours produced hundreds of sunstars in the rippled water that surrounded the silhouettes of two mallard ducks (Anas platyrhynchos, Anatidae).

Shooting into the sun presented the problem of not knowing exactly what I'd capture, but I knew I'd get some good shots. I was pleased that I got a number of good sunstars and was especially pleased that this one came out red. I did not add color to the star.
I shot a 150-500mm lens, handheld from a kayak in calm water.

That sun looks nice and warm pushing through the trees, but the wind whipping up over the edge of the gorge was bitterly cold. A beautiful winter day in Ontario.
While I was waiting for the sun to hit the top of the mountain I decided to grab my backup camera and walk around. I took some random shots until I came across this beauty. I think this ended up being my favourite over the Comp I was waiting for. Let me know what you think. VLOG below.

Ballonfahrt beim Tegernsee. Knapp vor dem Sonnenuntergang leuchteten die Lärchen und Buchen in herbstlichen Farben.
Durch die Blende 22 entstand dieser Sonnenstern.
Mit dem Preset "Copperlook" habe ich dann noch die Farben orange und gelb verstärkt.

This sun star was created by the aperture 22.
With the preset "Copperlook" I enhanced the colours orange and yellow.
